- Big Daddy's theme song. Really captures the essence of the time.
Big Daddy's only attack on the UK music charts, this song, much like the wrestler himself, seem to have faded away in the history of wrestling. It's such a shame because Big Daddy WAS British wrestling in the late 70's and early 80's. Damn Hogan.

Ah. 3.55 on a Saturday afternoon. It HAD to be the the Wrestling on ITV World of Sport. Saw him wrestle live many times. A true gent, very generous and philanthropic. they don't make 'em like that anymore.

In the early days, Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks were both baddies and tag team partners. That changed after Big Daddy's bout with Kendo Nagasaki, when the crowd cheered him for the first time as he took off Kendo's mask. That was when Joint Promotions decided to start presenting Big Daddy as a goodie instead.
Big Daddy was the only man that Giant Haystacks was scared of.
Giant Haystacks scared of Big Daddy? Rubbish. I remember a comic cuts scene, where both wrestlers were in a ring, and kept chasing each other, not doing anything, for about ten minutes.
There was also an interesting match, regarding Giant Haystacks and Kendo Nagasaki once, where Giant Haystacks ripped off Kendo's mask, and he amusingly stayed in the ring, for a while, giving him karate chops in the corner, before Giant Haystacks forced a draw, by making Kendo another fall. So Kendo is a good wrestler, when he doesn't let himself, be backed into a corner.
