- A Norfolk mother is grieving the loss of her 14-year-old son, Amir Burnett, after he was shot and killed Sunday afternoon. It happened on Wyngate Drive, near East Virginia Beach Boulevard. Police arrested a 27-year-old man in this case. Anne Sparaco spoke with Amir's mother, who says all her son wanted to do was to play football.
