Hiya Banchou, when you can't find weapons you can "Investigate the area" for chipped stones and tree branches, use with ripped sheets or twine then craft your own weapons, the Herbalist trait will come in handy for identifying berries and making your own medicine, you should investigate schools or police department for bags, they're the biggest blue buildings on the map. You can also learn to hotwire cars with Mechanical and Electrical knowledge, do car repairs and dismantle electronics for that, always check ambulances.
