When a local MP (Sir Ed Davey) blocks the canal.

Arriving at Bridge 221 Aubreys lift bridge (Thrupp Services) on the Oxford canal I get a hand from a friendly boater opening the lift bridge for me.
Unbeknown to myself and not having seen any notification from the crt email notices I then stumble into a photo shoot for MP Sir Ed Davey promoting waterway issues.
