But I'm pretty sure he was given that name because of his voice. What Michel means is that Yesung doesn't have the best technique when he sings and strains his voice a lot, which gives great emotion, but hurts the vocal chords. That's why he had vocal nodules.

Someone said this in a program that Heechul hosted. I forgot which program.
