I don't know why people are complaining so much about this video...He gave some pretty good Tips he even recommended other great DPS players. I guess this is the "RUclipsr gets carried effect" I love how people get super critical in the comments pretty sure most of these guys aren't even Diamond players..
Mario Andres Ballesteros As a player i can respect Sty but in videos he is always talking to much and he doesnt get to the main point without talking so many useless things. He should write skripts to have a more clear structure. Ofc i mean only his videos didnt watch this video.
I can see why people don't like Sty because of the structure of his videos, but Idk, maybe it's my ADHD but his rambling doesn't bother me because I ramble just as often so I can follow along.
I mentioned he should script his vids on his channel. Sty brings good points if you can figure out what point he's trying to make since almost every "tip" ends in him talking about bad mental practice in games or ,occasionally in some of his vids, insulting large amounts of the player base
I have never ever seen a Tracer like that. Whoever played Tracer on enemy team, was just pure gold. Totally blew my mind how he seemed to time everything. Always seemed to have a way out.
Hey guys, thanks for watching! I believe some of you forget though that we can't get pro players for every episode. Truth is that we don't know many pro players and our friends list aren't filled with pros, top 500 players and other top tier Overwatch players like some of you seem to think. If any of you know anyone that is incredibly highly rated, makes RUclips content or streams, has a decent/good quality microphone and would like to be on an episode, then don't hesitate to shoot us an email (you'll find it in our about section and on Twitter). For this episode we wanted to collaborate with Sty, a good friend of ours with a skill rating higher than a lot of other people I know, and hopefully he can help some of you guys out with some Soldier 76 tips. Have a nice day! /Mysca
Would it be possible to find high level players for console, as well as PC? I'm sure the tips wouldn't be too different between the two, but with aiming being clunkier on console, it might be nice to see how high level players work around console limitations.
Enthusiasm for sure atleast ! :D Stylosa is the one guy who can talk for 30 minutes off of a speculation of a buff, while others speak about it for 1-2 minutes and move on . No hate though, love the guy! First OW youtuber I personally followed and learned from.
I love how people react to this video, seeing the number of views, there something like 100 persons with a better rank than Sty here xD He's incredibly good as Soldier, good positioning, good aim, good teamwork and calls. He's a goddamn high master and you're treating him like he was Silver. He's better than all of you, and if you fail to realize it, you've a serious problem on judging yourself. I can't believe people refuse to listen to the top 5% of the players. He's part of the best players out there, and they're like : oh damn OCentral you can't bring us Pro Player who have 5000Sr, you just bring us a grand master... When they can't manage to beat the platinum ranks because their "team is always full of trolls and toxic players". Look at yourself boys!
Glax' Star Sr means shit in s3. This season sr is so broken in high ranks. I saw way to much plats/diamonds of s2 in GM. Also he talks about one of the most broken characters in the game let him reach GM after fixing sr and solider and then he can give tips for solider
They want to speak about Soldier, so broken or not, you need someone to speak about him no? Plus, Sty use soldier only on his alt account, his main account which is GM, is a tank/support main. I'm pretty sure even with a fix Sty can reach it.
And if you watched the whole video, which you probably didn't based on this comments existence, he talked extensively about that Tracer and it lead into one of the main points of the video.
Pretty sure you never watched the video or more than the first couple minutes or you'd realize how dumb it was to say that. But hey, you keep on being hard on the internet!
I would definitely try and contact KarQ. He is a GM Ana main with a relatively small RUclips channel. He has some great informational videos and he streams often. Perfect for these type of videos
Nelajus *ACKCHUALLLY* its fisicly imposibal 2 chill ur undys bcus it dont make sens. Chilling undys kan not be dun wile wering them unles u is ner a coldy thingy but, ur but wood freez off and that wood hert ur but wich woodnt be gud so unles u is in antarctica, u kan not chill ur undys but, evan then u wood still freez wich wood not be gud so dont do dat.
I personally agree with people in the comments about Stylosa not being the best pick for this series, but I think this kind of video might be good for another series like a talk show like "Overtalk" or something.
This, and the Master Series videos, made my Soldier play so much better. All your advice is sound, it's nice that your videos can relate to console as well. (only a few things don't) Though I wish it would be easier to rank up, it can be a crawl at times.
I have a really good tip that brought me from silver to masters in one season, especially if you have a background in Battlefield or COD. Go to your mouse driver settings (For example Razer Synapse) and set right click to lower the dpi/sensitivity. This does many things, let's you use a higher dpi so you can snap around then have a lower dpi to aim and forces you to use both your right and left click fingers to aim. Basically since in those games you aim down sights a lot you get accustomed to right clicking then left clicking to aim. Since Overwatch is a hipfire game you only click left to aim. These 2 aim methods are completely different muscle memory. This drastically helped me and I hope it helps you :).
Stylosa certainly knows what he's talking about. The thing is, if we want to hear Stylosa chatter, we can go to his channel. We don't need OWCentral for that.
This is a series we wanted to use to put together to collaborate and provide detailed tips that can help out the majority of the player base to get better at a hero. Sty plays a lot of the game and is very high rated in ranked, has experience with previous FPS games etc. Just because we couldn't get another pro player doesn't mean that his tips aren't good enough for a video like this. We wanted to collaborate with Sty and think this is a good opportunity too. /Mysca
Its because he didnt say anything that a 10 hour soldier that's not bronze wouldnt know. Also, he's been proven to be very bad (judging by his own videos) at givign advice. He may be a grandmaster or whatever but that doesnt mean that he's good at coaching, giving tips etc etc. If it was like that then every good player in any sport would be a good coach, which is simply not true.
Hello overwatch central! I would personally love to see a Winston guide. he is undoubtedly one of the most powerful and yet underrated hero's around, and with the upcoming changes to dva and roadhog(a better variation and counter), it would be great to see a pro in action with some helpful tips in staying alive, when to engage etc. thanks and keep it up!
not a big fan of soldier myself but the interview was really interesting at least for me (as a student in journalism). btw have you guys ever considered doing podcasts ?
The issue that happens at lower ranks, even through diamond on console is that there is no communication. People don't switch if they don't want to and no one listens to the game chat. That's one of the main issues that PC players don't seem to understand about consoles. I'm solo queuing and I have to carry my entire team as soldier 76 but my team is always terrible. I got ranked far lower than I should have entirely because of my teams. I even have entire teams drop so I'm guaranteed a loss. There is literally nothing we can do. Welcome to solo que on console
Tac Visor is good to close out the mid fight, after both teams engage and there's been a few picks and people aren't in mechs and shields have been burned, if you can pop your ult and polish up the rest of their team you'll do well
People complaining and saying Sty isn't a good choice for a video like this. Really guys? Come on he made it to grandmaster solo queuing! That's something that only a tiny percentage of players in this community can achieve.
Adam Yukiho no we need the absolute top of the best to give my platinum ass some tips because otherwise how am I supposed to get to grandmaster?sarcasm off,any grandmaster can give tips to the average player cause they are the top 5% of players...the other 95% can learn something of them....no matter if its stylosa or anyone in that rank for that matter.
Bird is a really good DPS streamer (Top 500 etc) he seems pretty chill so messaging him for an appearance should work. Also get that Tracer on (Dawn?). They were going for that hard carry like ASDA's bags for life.
The problem about Sty is that he says really good and helpful things. But then in the video he does the exact opposite of what he's saying. "Don't be in the frontline" "don't use your ult if There's an enemy D.VA" "dont panic visor when Ana ults you"... sure.... I can see that u listen to your own advise. So I just tend to minimalize Stys videos. Listen to it like a podcast. Much more entertaining haha
I really like stylosa, he's an awesome guy, but to be honest I don't think he's the guy you want to ask to master soldier. His helix rocket usage is quite bad, when helix is a key part of him. Mastering helix is HUGE. It does 120 damage. Helix + 2 headshots, boom, another squishy dead. Mastering helix will make you so so so much better at soldier. Also his ult usage is not always amazing, at around 1:50 I believe he keeps switching targets and only confirms 2 kills. I'm not saying he's bad or anything, not at all, but he makes a lot of mistakes (which makes him human I guess Kappa)
See I totally embrace off-meta picks, hanzo, torb, whatever. But, how do you deal with people who just straight up throw? Half the time I get nervous if someone autolocks hanzo because i'm wondering if they're actually playing or throwing. This is in high diamond btw
I'm a Lucio main and I played a bit of pharah yesterday just for fun and I realised holy Jesus my accuracy is amazing as pharah I somehow know exactly where the enemy's going to go
Stylosa is very clearly mentioned in the thumbnail and title if you think someone else would have been better suited to be the guest thats fine but that's not what happened so your whining about it is a moot point. Also before anyone tries, no it's not "constructive criticism" it's complaining. You're not saying anything Ryan and -MooseCup- Mysca don't already know, haven't considered, or have any real control over. You don't have to watch the video. If you want support them, load the video in a tab, mute it and go watch a guide you'll find useful in a different tab.
Wow it's been so hard to play as an incredibly difficult hero Soldier:76, but now with the tips from an professional holy god master of all 76 from all 76 player Stylosa I know how to play as very hard hero S76. :^)
@Skukz do you really think so? stylosas hero pool seems to gravitate towards whatever hero is OP or meta at the time he did it zarya lucio reinhardt and now dva and soldier i got to GM solely playing dva and it was much easier than playing zarya on my main valkia's off meta hero pool I think puts him slightly above stylosa in my opinion but that's just me, valkia is probably the only one he's on par with I think OAM is far superior in game sense this is not to say stylosa is bad whatsoever just saying i think the other players they've had are better
What I’m doing is getting better at Mccree in quick play so when I transition on to soldier in quick play I will have the accuracy and positioning down
Sty could really up his burst-firing game. You kinda always see the spread when he's spraying on long range, which shouldn't happen. Only 3-4 shots at once.
STYLOSA ONCE TOLD ME THE WORLD WAS GONNA ROLL ME
BUT HE AIN'T THE SHARPEST TOOL IN THE SHED...
Tracer GAHDAMIT I SAID THAT THEN SAW THIS
YOU WERE EARLIER FFS
IN THE SHAPE OF AN L ON HIS FOREHEAD
And the years start coming
DJ4920 And they don't stop coming
I forgot what channel I was on
I don't know why people are complaining so much about this video...He gave some pretty good Tips he even recommended other great DPS players. Mario Andres Ballesteros As a player i can respect Sty but in videos he is always talking to much and he doesnt get to the main point without talking so many useless things. He should write skripts to have a more clear structure. Ofc i mean only his videos didnt watch this video.

Mario Andres Ballesteros this guide is so useful and will help me get out of fucking silver because the ranking system is kinda fucked
Epic Lauchpadder same
I have never ever seen a Tracer like that. Whoever played Tracer on enemy team, was just pure gold. Totally blew my mind how he seemed to time everything. Always seemed to have a way out.

Overwatch Central great work! sty is one of the best overwatch players for knowledge and enthusiasm for the game! thx
Overwatch Central at least he did the video this time.
Enthusiasm for sure atleast ! :D Stylosa is the one guy who can talk for 30 minutes off of a speculation of a buff, while others speak about it for 1-2 minutes and move on . No hate though, love the guy! First OW youtuber I personally followed and learned from.

Quadrall Before Mcree is so broken, now 76 is broken, yeah right, s3 rank broken yeah right,GOOD LUCK PRO GAMER.
Glax' Star I'm 191 in top 500 but ok stay in bronze
How to master Bastion with Zylbrad
Hahahahah that would be awesome.
Ghostperty pls
YAASS
please yes
Kolorblind would be better, he's one of the best Bastion players in the world.
Come on guys I bet he's better than all of us
Optical Decay true
Depends if a pro saw this video or if stylosa himself saw this then they are better than him
That Tracer on the other team was dumping on you
Brendan Lemke obviously a good tracer can destroy, and its extremely hard to keep up with her.
Brendan Lemke I agree but to be fair it's not a great match up for soldier to win. Mecree is best for killing tracer.
And if you watched the whole video, which you probably didn't based on this comments existence, he talked extensively about that Tracer and it lead into one of the main points of the video.
amerika*
I never said he never addresses it, I just said he got dumped on
Pretty sure you never watched the video or more than the first couple minutes or you'd realize how dumb it was to say that. But hey, you keep on being hard on the internet!
Stylosa once told me, Soldier76 is not OP
ahdoah Hsieh but he is OP
"In one sentence, what is your biggest tip?"
Finishes answering the question two full minutes later. XD
I would definitely try and contact KarQ. He is a GM Ana main with a relatively small RUclips channel. He has some great informational videos and he streams often. Perfect for these type of videos
Stylosa once told me [Insert dead meme]
Brandon Alvarez (dead meme)(insert dead meme)*
Stylosa once told me you should've gotten Bazza
Dr. Trankenstein bazzzaaaaaaa
I don't think they were trying to do a video on how to get hooked.
Dr. Trankenstein BAAAAZZZZZZZZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Curtis Ruecker fair enough
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the tips about the positive mentality, you see very often people just blaming and being salty to their own team, but never giving support.
Guys Stylosa is better than a lot of us ... Great video again !
NEXT VIDEO: Master McCree Ft. McCreamy ...
iGrisly G Widowmaker*
Memes*
I just adore Sty!! His personality outshines the entire video *~*
Damn, if you don't like Sty, what's not watching the video?
Like jeez, I love Sty and this helps a lot lol
Chill your undies

+Domo.H 28 .....
This is basically a recap of all Stylosa videos...
Can we have zylbrad for bastion or oasis for mercy
Alex Smirnov or Animetic for Mercy (What 400+ hours of Mercy looks like)
STOKEZZZZ123 Yea Animetic is a way better mercy but she(he?) dosen't talk so it will probably be Oaisis
Didn't they already do Eevee for Mercy?
I love stylosa his mentality is the one I shared in other games to succeed
Can we get a master Torbjörn video? I don't play him, but at least when I get an attack torb on my team, I can pray that he saw the video xD.
I personally agree with people in the comments about Stylosa not being the best pick for this series, but I think this kind of video might be good for another series like a talk show like "Overtalk" or something.
How to master soldier 76
1:Point
2:Shoot
3:Move around
4:Ocasionally use helix rocket
5:Profit
What rank are you again?
Arin Deniz Demir probably silver
A wise man once told me rank doesnt matter
6:PLAY LIKE AS TEAM
+Kili Nguyễn no fuck that
Stylosa once told me the world is gonna roll me

Presley Chan you mean holding down right click? If u set right click to lower dpi wouldn't it mess with your alt fire?
Braces yourselves, Stylosa memes are coming!
i dont think he's really that good of a source
Stylosa certainly knows what he's talking about. The thing is, if we want to hear Stylosa chatter, we can go to his channel. We don't need OWCentral for that.
MysticHero He's a fucking grandmaster what are you talking about
true

Some people seem obsessed with pro players I guess
I love the football example, its too true, when you have comradery, morale builds so much fucking faster.
I dont get it why all the Stylosa hate
Guys he is not that bad of a player
Its because he didnt say anything that a 10 hour soldier that's not bronze wouldnt know. Also, he's been proven to be very bad (judging by his own videos) at givign advice. posted 6 minutes ago from when I watched this. this is the fastest I have ever found a video as it was posted
Master Junkrat, that dude who played Junkrat and basically mimicked his voice perfectly.
Wouldn't it have been better to have him over for a Mercy video?
:3
Supertron no they should have just got him to read their notes
STOKEZZZZ123 LMAO
stylosa talking is like a broken cd that skips between sections and snaps back to them 3 mins later
Next up, Muselk. Grandmaster Zenyatta.
33% accuracy 33% positioning 33% timing 1% positivity
Hello overwatch central!
I would personally love to see a Winston guide. he is undoubtedly one of the most powerful and yet underrated hero's around, and with the upcoming changes to dva and roadhog(a better variation and counter), it would be great to see a pro in action with some helpful tips in staying alive, when to engage etc.
thanks and keep it up!
Stylosa wonce told me soldier didnt matter
P. Timothée Stylosa onece told me life doesnt matter
Are you sure life isn't a game?
Thanks for the tips guys!!! You're the best!
Stylosa once told me that Valkia will carry you
Love the masters series!!!
not a big fan of soldier myself but the interview was really interesting at least for me (as a student in journalism). btw have you guys ever considered doing podcasts ?
Talk about Zenyatta with muselk
The issue that happens at lower ranks, even through diamond on console is that there is no communication. People don't switch if they don't want to and no one listens to the game chat. That's one of the main issues that PC players don't seem to understand about consoles. I'm solo queuing and I have to carry my entire team as soldier 76 but my team is always terrible. I got ranked far lower than I should have entirely because of my teams. I even have entire teams drop so I'm guaranteed a loss. There is literally nothing we can do. Welcome to solo que on console
Jack Frost it sucks
finally I get to watch soldier
Tac Visor is good to close out the mid fight, after both teams engage and there's been a few picks and people aren't in mechs and shields have been burned, if you can pop your ult and polish up the rest of their team you'll do well
Anyone else finding soldier 76 gameplay super satisfying to watch?
so much hate for Stylosa but most of these haters wish they had half of his skills.
I just came here for the bants between Sty, Ryan and Mysca.
That Tracer was pretty sick
Laughed my ass of as i saw "feat. Stylosa"
HeroicIntellect to be fair a lot of people did
Holy shit that enemy tracer was a fucking red murdering blur
that tracer is a beast!
Can you do a master guide for bastion
Much more entertaining haha
where can i watch these pro players/ matches
I forgot whose Chanel I was watching
Stylosa once told me that positioning and aim are equally important
You asked Sty who played lucio in world cup for Soldier tips?
Stylosa joins the video BOOM.... video lenght extended by 10 minutes.
🎤Stylosa once told me rank doesn't matter
He read it in the patch notes🎤
HL Stats...wow, that is a throwback.
can we get a junk main? in lower ranks there are so many people that think that picking junk will win them the game
I've been waiting a long time for a Master Genji Guide featuring someone like Seagull or Shadder2k. Please make it happen!!!
stylosa once told me to watch pro gamers to get better, and he is right. I got to diamond by literally watching and emulating valkia.
Borium is one of the best solo q Soldier I know so far tbh :c idk why he isn't famous enough
See I totally embrace off-meta picks, hanzo, torb, whatever. But, how do you deal with people who just straight up throw? Half the time I get nervous if someone autolocks hanzo because i'm wondering if they're actually playing or throwing. This is in high diamond btw
First 10 min = soldier guide last part of video = don't be toxic and stylosas recap of how he got to gm's.
I'm a Lucio main and I played a bit of pharah yesterday just for fun and I realised holy Jesus my accuracy is amazing as pharah I somehow know exactly where the enemy's going to go
stylosa once told me he isnt a master soldier
I feel like sty has gotten better over 3 months.
Stylosa once told me many things
What dpi does stylosa use. What do you guys recommend?
Don’t use biotic field until about 80 HP
Stylosa is very clearly mentioned in the thumbnail and title if you think someone else would have been better suited to be the guest thats fine but that's not what happened so your whining about it is a moot point. Also before anyone tries, no it's not "constructive criticism" it's complaining. You're not saying anything Ryan and -MooseCup- Mysca don't already know, haven't considered, or have any real control over. You don't have to watch the video. Wow it's been so hard to play as an incredibly difficult hero Soldier:76, but now with the tips from an professional holy god master of all 76 from all 76 player Stylosa I know how to play as very hard hero S76.
:^)
totally agree about reinhardt and lucio, i think mercy/ana should be learned as well though, at least one of those.
Nanoboost and visor I did months ago before his buff. Do find it easier killing tracer as McCree then 76 but can obviously do so with tracer
Stylosa isn't on par with the previous people you've had on this series
He's on par with Valkia
@Skukz do you really think so? stylosas hero pool seems to gravitate towards whatever hero is OP or meta at the time he did it zarya lucio reinhardt and now dva and soldier i got to GM solely playing dva and it was much easier than playing zarya on my main valkia's off meta hero pool I think puts him slightly above stylosa in my opinion but that's just me, valkia is probably the only one he's on par with I think OAM is far superior in game sense this is not to say stylosa is bad whatsoever just saying i think the other players they've had are better
0 fks given road hog is the easiest.
ofcurse stylosa is telling us "soldier is 50% positioning and 50% aim" ore "if you have good positioning and aim your god"
lol that last question there "in about a sentence or a paragraph..." lmao
Thanks for the tips, it was a good video.
That Tracer in the control centre holy shit
What I’m doing is getting better at Mccree in quick play so when I transition on to soldier in quick play I will have the accuracy and positioning down
Man I want to meet the Hanzos and Widows that he met that can get picks while in Solo queue
can you do master zenyatta with muselk?
Im a console player and i was wondering is aim assist a bad thing because i also play with soldier and use aim assist a bit
Karq or skyline for Ana
Stylosa once told me accuracy doesn't matter
Stylosa once told me... nothing, never talked to him
Sty could really up his burst-firing game. You kinda always see the spread when he's spraying on long range, which shouldn't happen. Only 3-4 shots at once.
thought just camed to me if u guys make a vid of positioning wit reaper u could call it reap-positioning, i know it may be chessy
tips on 76, spray and pray and wait for Autowin ult to be charged.
Stylosa once told me helix jumping matters
