@@DroneWorkspro I know the Hub method is probably better, if you're a 'prepared' type of person. But if you're run and gun filmmaker and see an opportunity, you have to act quickly. To have a quick and effective workflow at hand would be very useful! Thanks.
Nice video. I just got Litchi and I use FCPX. I notice you use 1080p for the hyperlapse project, can you use a higher resolution? If not why? Thanks for you videos. Liked the video.
Great video ! You must have spent a lot of time in editing it all so thumbs up for your great and clear explanation. Can you by chance explain how to adjust brightness of the pictures taken with mavic pro pano mode in a couple of lines? I often happen to do pano pics and then found out that they are overexposed and it’s impossible to adjust contrast, brightness and so on for 36 pics! Thanks for replying.
Unfortunately, the Mavic Pro has a fixed aperture, so that leaves you with shutter speed and ISO, that's where ND filters come in. They reduce the amount of light that reaches the shutter. Overexposed photos are much harder, if not impossible, to color grade if they are overexposed too much. Use the histogram and try to keep the arc just below center. Shooting in D-Log also helps, as it captures more information in the image, but it is also more difficult to color correct. Depending on what photo editing you use, most likely you can bring up the first photo, color grade it and then apply those settings to all your photos using a batch process. That's what I did for the photos I used to grade the photos used in the hyperlapse segments in the day and night examples shown in this video. So, my suggestion is get a good set of ND filters and learn how to batch process your photos. Hope it helps!
Jay Desio yep that’s really what I needed . How to do a batch process. I will check the tube and find a tutorial on how to do a batch process. Thanks so much.
Not bad Jay not bad at all. I like the 2 second interval at .7mph hyperlapse. I just did one on my Mavic 2 Pro. Gotta love these Mavic 2 series drones. Nice work.
So this tutorial is 4 yrs old. Very helpful but a bit old and Litchi menus seem to have changed a bit since then. Any chance you could do an update to this. I see you recommend 2 secs for JPEGs and 5 secs for RAW but what if you want both. My Air2s will, I believe, create a Hyperlapse video using the JPEG's while at the same time saving the RAW images to a Hyperlapse folder. I've already tried standard video with Litchi but I find it does not provide a smooth flight pattern especially if you have multiple POI's. So rather than using POI's is it possible to use INTERPOLATE and manually configure the direction of the camera at various way points and set the Gimbal to say 30 degrees for the duration of the mission.
Great video! Any idea how many waypoints you can add in hyper lapse mode? I know the DJI app only allows 5 with isn't enough for a project I'm working on.
The commands to start/stop capturing photos or recording is a live command, it requires a connect to the remote. I know if you start recording a video, it will continue to record without a connection, but I am not sure if the photo intervals are counted on the remote or on the aircraft, so it might stop taking photos if disconnected. Also, if the connection to the aircraft is lost, the waypoint mission will continue, but speed changes and gimbal tilt requires a live connection, so they will both remain at the setting at time of signal loss. Hope that helps!
I've looked at many videos re Litchi Hyperlapse...this one is the clearest and most
comprehensive.
Awsome! Very good Result! Thank you for that!
Great tutorial Jay! Keep up the good work and greetings from italy!
Thank you so much you have taken a lot of guess work out of this task I have been wanting to try.
ic...you're using the 'hub'. Can you do a tutorial using the app?
I'll put that on my "To Do" list.

Will Litchi app work with
Enterprise Zoom ?
Which requires “Pilot” app instead of Go4 App ?
Thank you
I’m have to get this app this was amazing thank you

Did the drone stops at every photo capture ?
1/2 sec exposure should introduce some kind of blurry photo if the drone doesn't completely stop.
Very detailed; thank you!
What happens if the drone ran out of battery? Will it go back to home automatically?
Litchi allows the user to add actions at waypoints. Could you start the photos at WP1 and end them at WP3 without having to manually start the photos?

Thanks, is there a way to have the drone start capturing the time lapse images while out range of the controller during a waypoint mission??

@@DroneWorkspro Yes, that makes sense. Looks like I'll have to do some experimentation.
dji mini 2 install litchi app
