Right. There is even a ginger based preparation called Ada pachedi which is offered to Jagannath.
It's not "uchche", it's Kakrol in Bengali & spine gourd in English.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🌹🌹🌹🌹
It's not called "ucche" in Bengali, it's kakrol (forest gourd).
Right.
True
Was it bitter gourd (Korola) or Kantola (Kankrol in bengali? from the video it looks like the latter went in.
yes ,it is Kansas !
Check out for Odia food recipe preparation online at www.sangitaskitchen.com/
That green vegetable isn’t bitter gourd. It is a somewhat sweetish kind of thing, in Hindi it’s called kantola, in Bengali it’s called kankrol.
dalma is a odia dish and it is called as kankada in odia
@@chbe7322 Ya, I am aware, but if someone outside Odisha who wants to prepare dalma to offer to Lord, then how will the sabziwala understand what kankada is.

That's spine gourd Sir. It's called kankrol in Bengali, not uchhe. Uchhe is bitter gourd.
Bhai
we can understand ur language,
As a indian ,hindi is must preferred.
So why two times same things😃
This is not temple dalma
But its ok
'kajarol' in Bengali
It is not uchchey, it is kakrol.
It is not really 'sasta' to prepare Dalma in big cities. The cost of ingredients is almost equal as that of making mutton/chicken curry.
