Nice hunt. Curbstrips next to new sidewalk are tough customers. You never know how much got dug up or if new dirt was brought in. Love finding the old stuff just sitting on the surface (like my first IHP find-as you know). I need to get back to visit the lake sometime. Gold & silver (and who knows what?) awaits! Cheers.
You just need to get out there and try!!!! You will be surprised what you might dig up!!!
