@@rosecarter5303 yes i did the same, you have to becaseful because there's a 'tooth' on the front/head of the button and without it the handbreak doesn't operate properly. i eventually found the correct one as a metal component and it works fine. it's a bit wobbly once fitted, it's not perfect but it got through my MOT.

I called my local vauxhall dealership parts department and they advised Vauxhall do not sell the button separately and that in order to fix this I would need to pay £170 to replace the entire hand brake lever. All for a stupid little cheap flimsy piece of plastic that breaks too easily. Vauxhall are an absolute joke. I will never buy one again
