Yeah this is kinda how she ends up at the end of the game. It’s why I like the side stories like Dissidia, Mobius and World; they flesh out the characters end game personalities far better than the actual games. :)

dissidia has no choice but to pick a few key characteristics and stick to them for its characters because the cast is way too large for everyone to have complex and unique writing. Otherwise everyone would just be "good guy with a sword"

Considering that the Lightning in this obviously never had to deal with all the events of her games. This version of Lightning is more of a serious, but more laxed version of her original appearances. No end of the world, no Knight of Etro, no dead Serah, etc. So she's somewhat more happy here. The only downside most likely to her in this world is that Snow is still her brother-in-law, since he and Serah still live in Bodhum.
After replaying the original FF7 and then just recently beating the Remake, Cloud's greatest ability is to attract women and be completely oblivious to it at the same time.

In this game is about revenge of Cloud, what Terra and everyone did in FFVI world was to save it from Kefka who killed innocent people just because he felt like it and because he thinks of himself as a god. They didn't fight him and "killed" him because they wanted to, they had to after everything he did not like Cloud in THIS GAME that seemed obsessed with the idea of defeating Sephiroth, cause in FFVII they did it for the same reason as FFVI: to save the world

I usually tend to remain silent on these videos, but hey why not poke my head in once and a while!? :O I mean to be really technical, the death of Aerith was chibi for the field models on the Playstation outside of the FMVs, and people back then took it seriously. Similar to other JRPGS until the arrival of the HD generation of gaming. As long as the writing, set of tone, and the models reflect the emotion and tone set up by the scene, the scenes could be taken serious even with chibis. However, this game is not meant to be taken over seriously as the more modern Final Fantasies, examples being XIII and XV. So the "serious moments" with the chibis were not supposed to be taken that seriously obviously and just kind of focus on being just generic NPC backstories a bit. I mean doesn't totally give it a pass, especially if you want more emotion coming from the scenes. Varies from people to people I suppose. Honestly, the only real serious moments in this game are the bad ending and the true ending, but those are using a mixture of the models and anime cutscenes.

Cloud and Lightning are a pretty cute couple i like Lightning's Teasey/Flirty side with Cloud she clearly in into him and just like Cloud. he's insanely oblivious to it wouldn't be cloud if he wasn't but I think Lightning is into his Broody personality and stoic personality cuz she can relate plus that Pretty Boy Charm gets a lot of the Girls even Lightning isn't immune to it
It’s hard to take the serious moments well seriously cause there in chibi for like be honest if they show the death of areis is chibi form would you take it seriously
I usually tend to remain silent on these videos, but hey why not poke my head in once and a while!? :O
I mean to be really technical, the death of Aerith was chibi for the field models on the Playstation outside of the FMVs, and people back then took it seriously. Similar to other JRPGS until the arrival of the HD generation of gaming. As long as the writing, set of tone, and the models reflect the emotion and tone set up by the scene, the scenes could be taken serious even with chibis.
However, this game is not meant to be taken over seriously as the more modern Final Fantasies, examples being XIII and XV. So the "serious moments" with the chibis were not supposed to be taken that seriously obviously and just kind of focus on being just generic NPC backstories a bit. I mean doesn't totally give it a pass, especially if you want more emotion coming from the scenes. Varies from people to people I suppose.
Honestly, the only real serious moments in this game are the bad ending and the true ending, but those are using a mixture of the models and anime cutscenes.
