As far as siblings go, its great if they get along. My sister and I are in our 30s and we dont even talk. No community there.

Thanks. I'm not organized as a mom. I always feel like a looser. As usual, my husband is not proactive in raising our kid too. What do I do? I have to organize everybody...

Time out is okay if it's done for the right reasons and by a parent. It's not okay to put a kid in time out for not being able to communicate, it is okay to put a kid in time out because they did what you told them not to and laughed about it and were super disrespectful. It is okay to do for fathers and mothers, it's not okay for the babysitter. I am not anti-time out, I am not pro-time out. Time out is a situational concept. It really truly does depend on your situation. (I have autism)

Couldn't agree more! I have given a babysitter permission to enforce a time-out but only where it was someone I was close to and trusted completely.
