Love these simple tips!
Hello Karen, my question is about the mirror facing the front door. I was told to put a small mirror from the inside of my balcony that faces my front door to push out negativity. Is that correct there is a lot of different opinions about that.
No mirror should face the front door, you can put the mirror at the side wall of the foyer, but definitely not facing the front door. I think you're talking about the bagua mirrors, which has to be placed "outside" and above the front door.
Hi Karen. I'm hoping you can help me out once again... okay so my bathroom is in the Love & Relationships Section. The bathroom used to have a red shower curtain and red cabinet doors and a lot of red. About 2 yrs ago I changed the color scheme to steel blue with taupe/beige tones and really red anything doesn't work anymore, so there is none... except all the hidden red stopping the drains. Since then... it kind of has seemed like maybe people are taking me for granted(?) or not that seriously and my love life is at a stalemate/non-existent. I don't really want to have to go back to the old color scheme because I've added so much blue, **but the cabinet fronts that used to be painted red are still red, just under the blue paint.

Great tips! I have your book. Love it! Thank you!
Thank you
Hi Karen, thanks for your videos, I have read your book, a most enjoyable, fun and informative read. I love it and refer to it all the time. I have one question which i'm hoping you can answer, where, when and how did the use of colours start in Feng Shui.
Hi Karen, my bed is against the window but i placed thick green drapes to cover it. Its just been about 2.5 weeks since i did that and i fell ill for 1 week, and got into a bad accident last week. Please need your advise.
+MV Well - without seeing a bigger picture I really can't say for sure one way or another...one thing that happens sometimes is that things that were heading one way "finish off" and then you are stronger in the end much faster...this does not sound like that but it is all I can draw on given how little I know...you can try placing red along the window sill (tape, string or what have you) and see if that helps?
Thanks Karen. Basically, we have 3 windows in the bedroom: foot of the bed, right side of the bed and the headboard. Our bed is in the command position with the door on the bottom left of the bed. Our bedroom paint is all white, and an offwhite short curtain over the windows, and a thick lime green curtain at the headboard covering the other window. Hope this gives a better picture. I just noticed that since i changed the drapes i had non stop illness and accidents (2.5 weeks now, running 3 weeks this Nov. 16) .I feel awful!
+MV I'd still do the red color across headboard window and watch for results. :)
thanks Karen! Will do and keep you updated. :)
If I can not change my desk from in front of the wall, what is the Feng Shui s cure?
place a picture that has a far reaching or distant view in it so you feel there is lots of space in front of your face!
Love your book...I have read it like a million times lol
Hi Karen,
Thank you for this video :-) I have a question about my desk. I notice that I prefer to sit at the kitchen table. My desk is a corner desk with shelves attached on top, so there is no possibility to put it in the middle of the room, it is made for a corner, Then I saw your advice about not putting your desk next to a wall. What would your solution be if it is in the corner and has even two walls. Thank you :-) Sending you lots of love xxx Ellen
I think that if you prefer sitting at the kitchen table rather than the corner desk, that says it all! :)
Vast u. Bedroom. Position of beds.
Thank you Karen this is great!
How do you fix up a temporary nightmare that you want to leave anyway?
I'm in a small apartment and it's not a home, it's temporary because I don't have a lot of money but it's draining my health, time, energy, ironically yet it is so cheap, yet I can't pay for it. It's like being stuck in a nightmare or suffocating in debt are some of the phrases I feel. I am looking at the toilet and it probably needs a rug, I have decluttered everything, and have put 8 bills rolled up in the refrigerator in the back left corner.
I've never had problems with the flow of money before, it's been the past year or two. I will do the bread crumbs around the house. I wonder if a tenant next door (within same building) can be draining my health and money and how to shield that.
+_ If you've got no money, spend time daily visualizing that the place is already feng shuied well! You can even apply this concept to past homes you've lived in...a quantum cure indeed.
Love your book and I use it all the time. One of the common mistakes you mention here is having my desk facing a wall. I work at two different offices at work and both are situated this way. i have no option of moving my desk but I have all the problems you mention! What can I do to cure this issue?
The electrical thing I would have to break this rule. My boyfriend wouldn't agree with getting rid of the TV's lol
Great to see you again sister! It has been way too long!
Hmm, well, there's no other space that I can have my desk but I don't feel closed in by this. I kind of like the cosy corner, it does need a light on it maybe, but then the sofa has its back to the room entrance because all the plug sockets were on the other side, and I heard you should have a light at the back of the table. Can you have al light at the front and back of the room?
I've been following Karen Rauch Carter's advice for years, and because of her the strongest areas of my life are career and abundance. If you need help with any aspect of your life, listen to Karen.
back of the sofa I mean
you gotta do what you gotta do - place a cure at your desk if you are seeing weakness in your life with regard to opportunities NOT coming your way. :)
see, when I eventually buy my own house I will be looking at all this stuff lol. I'm renting an old house and the room shapes are annoying, I feel like I want to move all the time and this is probably why. Plus the area
+BlueCreativeSoul This is exactly my situation! I am in a temporary old house that I rent and everything's a mess yet you don't want to invest time, money and energy into it because I don't want to stay one more day than I have to.
Amanda - No. the mirror at the foot of the bed would not be the cure you are looking for. You want a line of red across the window moulding WITH STRONG INTENTIONS of stopping the ch'i from entering through the window and hitting you on the head - all this is of course, if you can't sleep anywhere else or in any other position in the room. A solid wall above/behind your headboard will give you strength and a greater chance to regain health.
