What are those!?
The elbow in the paddle should be aft if you're paddling forward, with the blade bent forward. Ask Laird.

Backwards? The blade is SUPPOSED to be the way Blakeney's holding it, and he seems very skilled at SUP.

Uh no, the scoop part of the paddle is supposed to point towards the front of the board.
Hard to take you too seriously when you are using the paddle backwards.
