UPDATE ON MY BOAT. I added 5 more rod holder in the back and one thing that didn't get talked about is the SeaKeeper Ride. It is a game changer, I can ride thru any type of water and it levels it out automatically. Nice feature. Now looking at a second Garmin unit possibly with radar. Thanks Chris for all the advise and future suggestions.
Very nice boat. I do love my Robalo. Your r200 is Definitely tight for charters. If you are going to move up, you might want to hit the 25ft mark and twins. Of course that meens a slip. I hope you tube helps ypu get there.
@@Deadfeat i’m not really interested in expanding chartering, I’m actually doing less, I’ve blocked out all Holidays and weekends. Finally making enough from YT that charters are just extra.
They do have inserts that fill the whole bow in, which you can use for a lounging pad, casting platform, or raise the insert to use as a table. Still not a true casting platform as you're still inside the gunwales, but you could throw a net from it.
lol what? How many boats in this class are pushing 60 mph. Not many. Close to 50mph is more than sufficient for a 23’ boat. Not running wide open much in the ocean anyway. I have a 2023 sportsman open 242 with that same motor and it will touch 48mph.

Nice review on the boat
Awesome boat
I love my 2017 Sportsman Masters 247!!!!
I’ve never heard someone complain about too much lighting before lol
I love my 232 open.
Good review
🙏🏻👊💥
We love our 262 open by sportsman!
I love my 202 robalo explorer, but yes I would love a sportsman.
How tall are you? Looks like you might hit your head on those rod holders. Curious because I am 6' 2"
6’5” no one seems to make T-tops for my height.
Awesome man
Your charter businees should go up with the new boat. Hopefully you won't raise your charter rates too much...
I’m not getting a new boat and business is great
Only thing it is missing is mud flaps😊
I love my 227. I find that Sportsman cant fully commit to make a fishing boat.
Seems like not many can make that commitment, too worried edging out the leisurely boater market. 🤷♂️
It's a nice boat but I don't care for the bow. The casting platform is too small to really stand on, especially with that trolling motor there.
There is no casting deck this is an offshore boat, maybe a bay boat would be a better fit, just have to be really picky about offshore days.

XEN
To slow needs at least another 10 knots
