If you're digging *hard ground* where *down force* is required and you *don't need a lot of lifting* power, the *blade in the rear position* makes it more efficient.
Also - never climb with the blade in front.
The handbook will say to keep the weight forward and blade in front but I’ve lost count of the times I’ve the blade behind me - lost grip and slid backwards - but dropped the blade to stop the machine sliding.
Kubota swing pump is 2500 to 5000 depending on what all parts you need to replace. 3 parts on this machine
His replacement swing pump is around 500.00
I have the kubota k008.
Very nice machine for tight access jobs. Kubota is always worth lots for resale.
Not a comfortable machine, but it will beat a bx25.
I have a k008 and I installed a thumb, the first thing you must do is have a two way hydraulic valve installed. Kubota only provides a one way to operate a auger or hydrahammer.
Rhinoceros is a decent brand of Chinese digger to. But I agree, stay away from a auction and go through a dealership, at least you have a warranty that way

Do ya'll include a service manual with your machines?
It's not about being cheap, so many people don't understand that. As a home owner not a business i can't justify spending the money for a Kubota that i will never be able to recover the cost for when there is other equipment that is needed for the farm as well. It's about digging by hand or paying someone to do it for you ( which would almost cost as much as it would be to buy the Kymron ) or buying the Kymron and having it to do other jobs as well. Will it last as long as the Kubota, probably not, but well it last long enough to accomplish all the things i will need to do on my property throughout the years, probably.

What is the smallest machine available? I'm a plumber, I dig mostly water lines, gas line, irrigation lines. I need to be able to get through standard fences if possible.

I owned k008 I loved it but too small and too light! Now i would buy Kymron over Kubota! 10K vs 30k ! 20 k deferens!

Absolutely, its pretty crazy when you consider you could literally have 3 RH14s for the same price or go to like their XH20 and still be under 20k and that machine will do way more work than the K008.. The big brands pricing is off the wall in 2024 considering the competition now... You might have been able to get away with those high prices years ago but we actually have options now and Kymron is how im gonna go 💪
I don’t doubt the kubota may be a better built machine and may last longer. But these Chinese machine are not built for an excavating company. These are home owner machines . I don’t care what you say, it will dig better and faster than a hand shovel.
The Kabota is definitely worth the extra money.
How? Be specific which parts are worth paying an extra TWENTY THOUSAND dollars? You could literally drive 1 Kymron off a cliff and buy a brand new replacement and still be over 10 grand in the bank ahead of the Kubota 😂 Im sorry but Kubota isnt packing another 20 thousand dollars of value into their machine and you dont even get a hydraulic thumb... The big brands are overrated for what theyre charging in 2024.... Maybe when they were the only game in town they were worth it, but times are changing....
Who carries parts for these? When it breaks down do you offer a loaner machine while the other gets fixed?
If you listen in the video...He said all parts are available and on their models parker pumps and Eaton drives fit I own the KYMRON and checked myself. Loaner?? No one gives you a loaner except maybe Mercedes-Benz dealers SMH entitled a bit are we??? You probably better stick with buying the Kubota for 30 grand so they can lol at you too when you ask for a loaner.
@@rockingtranch543 you do realize that a bunch of dealers will give a loaner if your new piece of equipment goes down under warranty.......sounds like you speak of things you don't know much about.
@@lte008 Ya if you buy a Cat or John Deere that's over a 100 grand I'm sure they will. Your still an entitled DB...
Kubota don't give out loaners can tell ya that right now.

@GriseldaBlanco-kt2to You can save 50% more if you buy directly from the manufacturer. KYRON simply tosses a $200 cylinder on the thumb, rebadges it, then doubles the price. Every part in every mini excavator comes from China. Made in China, assembled in the USA.
Everything we buy is made in China.
China is only in "meltdown" in the western media.

I have a K008-3, if I were to do it all over agian, Id stick to Kubota, tried and true.
A dash 3 Kubota is quite a few years old now 2003 ish? My 121-2 from 1997 with 5000+ hours is still going strong it's worth virtually the same if not more than I paid for it 5 years ago, original engine, pumps and track motors. The Chinese stuff just won't hold any value at 5,10 years down the road.
I sold k008 mini and bought kymron h20 1.8 tons just like Kubota u17 size! Operates just like Kubota!

Everyone is biased - one way or another. Sure, he is biased. He would be a failure in business if he did not believe in his product. The key is this: is he giving truthful information? I'm keeping an open mind AND doing my own research! 😊

How is this a fair test? The Chinese excavator is a heavier machine then the Kubota?
These little china machines are less than $10,000, the kubota is $30,000. . .
I have both brands of machines... The Kubota will win everyday of the week. Different models but the chinese one I have develops problems after 4-5 hours of continuous running as there is no radiator to cool the hydraulics. Changed so many hydraulic seals on it. The seat doesn't hold up well.. the bolts rattle themselves out for the cab. The hydraulic joysticks will become loose. The Kubota can run all day no worries.
