      I also have the same problem. People are afraid, angry, jealous... It's quite sad, really. I have only ever wanted to teach people how to do it, but they are childish.

    It's really satisfying to see very strong jin like this on camera. Really great stuff, to get to that level at your age you've obviously been practicing a really clean Yang style. Characteristically, you hardly move. Not only does it look nice but, in the future when this stuff has gone mainstream (something this valuable wont remain hidden for much longer) the practice behind this is going to inform so many different industries and areas of human endeavour. I think it's enormously important to get it our there and on screen.

      Tai chi chuan gone mainstream decades ago when Yang Chen Fu or Yang Lu Chan decided that the only option for tai chi chuan to never disappear is through students outside of the family so he started teaching strangers. More tai chi chuan practitioners out there than mma fighters.

    How does mr mizner deal with aggressive strikes and kicks. It looks like he can control soft approaches, but it is not a self défense thing. He can sto- punches while he is touching but what if the guy cones in swinging and snapping. No fighter pushes and leaves his arms there. Show me someone really attacking.

    • @timj9418
      @timj9418 4 года назад

      There are many videos of him dealing with forceful attacks. You just haven't bothered to seek them out. In any case, he can in fact deal well with kicks and punches using very much the same skill, including neutralizing and sticking techniques with plenty of jin. For a less strenuous but still convincing set of demos and explanations see the long video including one of his senior students and the Martial Man interviewer: ruclips.net/video/XuW4UfaC-l8/видео.html or short free sparring: ruclips.net/video/wwutQO-GU-8/видео.html

    I've never seen such a high level before. To the uninitiated, it looks fake..or magical. It's obviously real. And obviously an extremely high order of Kung Fu.

    • @Sehof77
      @Sehof77 6 лет назад

      Hi, why do you think that's obviously real? From the videos....? I like his form and the technique works but after practicing Taiji for 25 years I always get suspicious when I see disciples flying off. Hoping for your answer. Best, Sebastian

      I have 30 years of hard Kung Fu experience. No experience in Tai Chi. But you can tell by how the body of the "aggressor" reacts. You get to the point where you can tell if a student is "cooperating" or playing along. These are not his direct students here. And although they are not aggressively resisting, they aren't exaggerating the reactions either. Yes, you do see the disciples of some "Master"s exaggerating their response. But I don't see that here. You should be able to tell the difference too.

    Adam in the Octagon equals destruction. That is his opponents destruction.

    • @Gieszkanne
      @Gieszkanne 5 лет назад

      @Thetraveller Lightbringer You can also see this wrestling match with Huang. Normaly he was able to flip his students around with easy more than Adam can but in this wrestling match with a younger stronger opponent he could just keep the control. He couldnt send him flying like with his students.
      I dont think that Adam is crazy or has problems with agression.

    • @TheMistermountain
      @TheMistermountain 4 года назад +3

      Have you actually spent time in the Octagon? Or trained with resisting opponents? What Adam does has value. But stating that he would destroy anyone in the Octagon is just demonstrating ignorance. This stuf is for outside the Octagon for just living and being a human being.
