    Do you cook it covered in foil or uncovered?

    • @justaddmusclecom
      @justaddmusclecom  5 лет назад

      Usually uncovered, but covered would also work well. Might try that next time to see if it makes a difference on how moist it comes out.

    Im thinking of an idea for a sandwich out of this

    • @justaddmusclecom
      @justaddmusclecom  7 лет назад

      Great for sandwiches, you can store it for a week in the fridge and make sandwiches or eat with veggies or rice or potatoes as part of a meal. It will save you a lot of money making it like that too.

    You say a pork shoulder, which I would think of as a pork butt, but you are actually using a picnic cut. Any thoughts as to using one vs the other, does it matter, both about the same, is one more traditional?

  • @jpmartian
    @jpmartian 7 лет назад +4

    You should lower the temp to about 225 F and go about 40 min per pound.

    • @justaddmusclecom
      @justaddmusclecom  7 лет назад +3

      Yes I agree, I need to go lower and longer to make it more tender. I will do that next.

    • @brando_00
      @brando_00 4 года назад +1

      I made a 9 lb butt at 225 for 6 hours and then 400 for 45 mins to crisp the skin. It was so tender
