- First Jesus called the Twelve to be His disciples, then He sent them as His apostles. Like them, we first need to see and understand who Jesus is and what He has done for us. Then we can go and tell the world the great news of the gospel. First we are called, then we are sent.

Please answer me this Question Pastor Ken in reference to Acts 16:31 New King James Version (NKJV)So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
(Does that mean that because I have belived in Jesus and I know he have saved me that also my mother who is not yet a believer that she will also be save because she leaves with me in the same home? Thanks in advance for your response

I believe that yes your mother is saved. Jesus did say toba guard/soldier go you and your household are saved.
Ken is certainly a lot more knowledgeable than me,as are many others.

Greetings. No, Paul was not saying that one person's faith saves a whole household. We are not saved by proxy faith. Each individual must believe to be saved. This is the meaning of what Paul was saying: 'Believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved. Also your family, if they believe, will be saved.' Blessings
