It is actually a great representation of why the world is the way it is. There is nothing common about common sense, just as the definition of human decency, and what it means only exists in the reality of each person. The inability to understand others is the reason for the current state of the world. As long as people think their version of common sense is the only one that is right, things will never change.
It isn't about accepting opposing values either, it is about not impossing one's values on others, no matter what that is.

Imitation of accents is not racism, it is a skill.
