@@BAWAutomotive probably get a whole 2nd 79 for the price is my guess, having portals is a big advantage but it also can make you get stuck further away from help .
All very cool. But, for a Brisbane build, and no doubt, a suburban life, that is a shit tonne of money! Vehicle, $90k+, canopy $30k+, solar $10k+, portals, tyres, rims, drawers, bar work, mirrors, roof top, stereos, radios etc etc etc. you would want to spend at least one night a week camped at ur local shopping mall car park! No wonder he couldn’t afford a winch or spotties!. But he could use his mounted Offroad jack if he gets bogged. No doubt an amazing build, but pretty hard for an average bloke, or even a wealthy sensible person to attain or justify. As a bloke who lives in the bush, owns 3 old 4wds, has to drive 60kms on dirt, and thru a bonnet deep creek each way everyday to get to work, I really don’t get it. That said, everyone in the marketing departments of all the different brands used in this build, definitely deserve a pat on the back 👍
@@BAWAutomotive fair enough, in this case I’m obviously wrong. Possibly not in the case of all the vehicles in the background, unless they are all bush trucks too! I deleted my comment about the tyres. This is a killer rig and your workmanship is 1st class. I love watching your channel keep up the great work! Ps I subscribed!
Might be bought, but we still built it. It’s an awesome rig, but no doubt, the weight would give the scales a real workout. All that beefy gear adds up quick!
Awesome rig, gotta be about or over $250,000 - awesome for a business owner with excess cash burning a tax write off but a pipe dream for everyone else. Not sure I'm a fan in the own opinion about adding all the extra failure points with all the air, hubs, in cab controls. Idk just seems like you'd come across this bloke in the bush stuck and he'll probably get pulled out by some shitbox GQ patrol lmao. Always the way with these over the top builds I guess.

Not unreasonable to expect 250k from this, dodge rams are about $130-150,000 here.

Still in love with Toyota❤❤
When's the wedding?
I partner with you guys to bring that type of engineering in Botswana
We’re not looking to expand our business internationally at this stage, thank you.

you have got a few 79s sitting in the background. that portal build of Tom's is a great looking rig but the price tag would be pretty scary.
Hahaha, yeah it's definitely not a build you'd want to add up the cost of

The owner actually came to us from the middle of the NT, because they wanted the best. Be careful when making those kind of assumptions.

@@andrewt3952 I more so think about all the weight. Especially on muddy, steep, rutted tracks, makes these rigs struggle off road.
I dig those ATD bars but do wish they did a single side rail rather than the dual rails. Not a fan of dual side rails
They do if you ask
yep lookup the superior engineering 79, I think it's burgundy and it's got an ATD bar with the single rail.
does your company deliver vehicles to other countries ? if i want a customized 79series like this
Yeah, we can. Get in touch via our website

It's ok to have your opinion. Cars are more subjective than people think. Thanks for following along
Bought not built 😆 Awesome rig, but the weight of this thing would be eye watering

Those drawers in the canopy need a drop down system on them as they are way to high to operate from with portal setup unless your 7 foot tall.
This customer was 8ft 2. Haha. Nah, interesting thought. We'll have to look into that.
BRENT........ Do you guys still make the LC 79 6 by 6?
Haven't done one in a while, but yes we do
Great machine, better filming would have done justice i think
Thanks for watching!
Wow,, i like it❤
It’s an epic build!
oil or water dripping from the bottom?
It's not a Land Rover. It was just water
Please send me quotation for this exact type. Thanks
No worries, send us an email
Awesome setup, however it desperately needs a chassis extension. Way too much rearward weight with the standard wheelbase.
Nice
wooh, like it🤩
Love at first sight
I want one
It is an awesome rig!
No need for double side rails
Honestly dude, how much on this is “needed”😆😂
This build wasn't really about practicality...
V8 Engine better V6 Engine .... ?
V8 is better. This car has a V8.

maybe 400
What about 500? Be ya best mate.
Side rails are pretty ugly. Bar is good.
What about the custom side steps?
All that money just to look like any other 79 but with fancy axles. Over kill for a trip to woolies. No need for a 79.
Not so overkill for a trip to Aldi though
