In gameplay, I think Freddy serves to put the player in a state of paranoia when hearing the doors open and close, while also serving as a blockage to some exits, being more of a nuisance than a threat.
It makes sense that he'd do that considering FNAF 1 Freddy always looked directly at the cameras when you check a camera he's on (and also how he tends to do this from a place where it's harder to see him)
Also in the notebook it is stated that together with his strange behavior freddy tries to rip his head off which could be reference to fnaf 1 easter egg where his poster does the same

There is a problem with the timeline with Afton and such, but to that i say that it wasn't specified at which location Afton got burnt to a crisp, but i think it's not Pizza Sim fire just because of the fact that Henry wouldn't let anyone in or out the vent system, underground with only 1 way out. I'd say that "What we found" is a continuation of FNAF 3, not just a parallel to it, because, hey, there was a fire and Springtrap was in the building hooked to a wall. He couldn't have escaped the burning building. So if Fazbear Frights continue after FNAF 3 we have a story of the real Afton dying, and PitBonnie becoming Scraptrap, means that PitBonnie later becomes Glitchtrap, an agony creature as shown in the first Princess Quest minigame, a gigantic black (agony) rabbit with William's remnant from the first springlock incident. And yes, i do believe the theory that William got springlocked in the games timeline after the MCI before the Springtrap incident. That's why PitBonnie believes he's Afton: William wore the suit and got springlocked in it. He's a sort of "Agony Mimic" who has William's remnant and just HUGE amounts of agony from ALL of the victims throughout the history of FNAF. That's my opinion.

About the Pit Bonnie voicelines, some Let's Players have called out the "I always come back" line, but that seems to be the only one people understand while they're playing.
FUN FACT: There are drawings for the map of library and the mill in the game's files. There's also a different drawing of the mill that you could enter. There's a lot more, like an unused image for the good ending.
Fun fact, the godzilla poster in his bedroom or his drawing about it fighting another turtle-like monster is not actually about Godzilla, even if its almost identical. Its Zendrelix vs Mechazendrelix, and its his favourite movie. He talks about it in the book and in the best ending of the game

Spring Bonnie has blue eyes because Fredbear also had blue eyes. Originally, Spring Bonnie's eyes were green, but Scott changed it, presumably to better convey the connection between Spring Bonnie and Fredbear. Freddy Fazbear is just a newer version of Fredbear, so he has blue eyes.

I think this is a rare easter egg, but when I was playing into the pit, there was a poster that was the twisted ones cover, instead of the usual poster that Oswald has in his room

Spring Bonnie has blue eyes because Fredbear also had blue eyes. Originally, Spring Bonnie's eyes were green, but Scott changed it, presumably to better convey the connection between Spring Bonnie and Fredbear. Freddy Fazbear is just a newer version of Fredbear, so he has blue eyes.
The graffiti on the wall in the scene with the dead opossum reads 395248, which is the tile code in Fnaf 3 to unlock a secret minigame!

The graffiti at the beginning has the numbers 395 248, which I believe is the wall panel code in FNAF3, also the hex code for purple backwards :) (same number on the back of the faz wrench)
Also, when Oswald hallucinates his teacher turning into Springbonnie, the broken clock is perhaps a reference to ruined daycare attendant/eclipse cause of the sun rays

I truely believe this isn't in the same canon as the games, a bit like the movie. It would explain the time travel and links it more with the novels.
The fact that Pit Bonnie is mimicking William's actions, it would make sense for him to also mimic his lines too.
