    just curious if these unit buys are being procured at the originally estimated affordable exchange rate of .92 AUD/USD ??

      If Australia is buying the A model it will probably be 68 million dollars US per unit.

      @@usmc24thmeu36 Depends which tranche as we've received aircraft through numerous tranches which are at different prices. Our earlier airframes, like the US's, are going to have to go through some heavy upgrades with early LRIP aircraft gradually upgraded to the baseline Block 3F standard by 2021. The newer airframes are running Block 4 but it's both a hardware and software upgrade to jump to this and that takes time and money.
