I used zhask after the buff and I think this is the problem 1. The delay Casting of his ultimate Is so slow that he will die easily when encountering fanny or any other heroes with burst skill and that delay is so annoying that when you're planning to bush camp he will just spin and the target is already escaped using flicker or any other long blink skill 2. There is a bug in zhask where he will lose his ultimate after casting it 3.sometimes when you need his ultimate to survive he can't use it after 1 second delay after getting far away in the spawn and you will just die I wish the developers see this and fix the issues
Zhask was once a nightmare mage but after recent nerf specially the nerf with his ult can't be full HP he wasn't a nightmare anymore ,I stop using zhask for a while but after this update buff on his ult I still prefer the old zhask where his ult can restore full HP than sustainability
One of my main problems with using Zhask is the delay in his skills. All of his skills have at least half a second delay, most especially his ultimate skill. This makes Zhask all the more useless, especially when most of his CCs are affected by this delay. Additionally, Zhask is too easy to counter compared to other mages, such as heroes with immediate stun or knockback that prevents him from casting any skill and heroes with long range that can burst down his ultimate including Vale's 2nd skill (stop when hit), Claude's ultimate, Beatrix's SMG ultimate, Masha can also burst his ultimate without worrying about her health, and many more. Even with the new inspire skill, his spawn's enhanced basic attack (the one that slows enemy) can be mitigated by dash and blink skills. Additionally, even in his ultimate form, Zhask can still be stunned and crowd controlled, meaning he will become useless once he gets stunned in his ultimate form because it will make him easy to burst down. Overall, I think one of the main adjustments that the Devs should make is to reduce the delay of casting in his skills to allow faster combos and immediate reflexes especially when ganked. At present, the only way for Zhask to win is if he focus on destroying towers 'til the base because he's just too slow when responding to team fights.
the nerf on his ultimate before killed him, devs just hides it in "bug fix" where you cant revive your big alien anymore. it is just super squishy now. just put it in a teamfight and suddenly its gone.

he can't leave his spawn like selena or diggie, so when enemy see zhask's spawn, it just automatically hint that zhask is around that spawn.... zhask is really predictable, whereas if you play selena and you got hit by her trap, you didn't know if selena is nearby or not.
I hope they will change the spawn by just being steady make it follow zhask bc without zhask spawn his useless and the most annoying part is when your being to far away to it spawn it will despawn
If only the spawn doesn’t lose hp overtime, and only dies either by killing it or when zhask respawns again, then that would’ve been a very solid passive for him -compared to the useless explosion- :3
-retribution can easily kill zhask’s spawn, even Aldous’s first skill can one shot it -meta nowadays are full of burst damage, zhask can’t one shot burst a fighter or even an mm (just blink out of the spawn range) -spawn has very low hp even on ult, the spawn’s lifesteal is too low so it doesn’t help since spawn has low def, has low range, long cooldown, and it is the only damage source zhask has. Popol deals more damage than him, and Kupa can chase enemy. -ult has very long animation and sometimes the basic attack bugged (doesn’t attack anyone and delay very long) -skill 1 has very long cooldown unlike Melissa’s first skill, skill 1+skill 2 misses a lot, skill 3 deals no damage (and very long animation too) -no dash skill except ult -passive spawns kill himself, also deals very little to no damage
Zhask spawn and Ult are squishy and they still reduce the hp of his Ult? that's stupid!, hp regen of his ult is nonsense cus only basic attack can trigger the regen, they should also include the skill to trigger hp regen but not.
What killed zhask for me was his 3rd skill nerf, i used to approach easily to melt them, stun followed by 3rd skill on Ult and each clone delt about 300 DMG being about 3 rows with 4 clones in each row. Also the Ults cool down and the "bug" that got fixed.
Zhask skill set is one of the most predictable in mlbb roster of heroes in addition to its long cooldown. It is easy to evade and with his ult being the main damage source, you can just go away and wait for it to end. Movement speed buff while using the skills or extended ult duration should be enough.
Zhask just need 3 things to be playable ATM: 1.High mana consumption: His mana cost it's high without clock of destiny after using 5 to 7 skill you're out of mana. 2.High cooldown: he is really weak after using his ultimate that's the main reason cuz everyone use Fleeting time on him. 3.Spawn while using ultimate is easy to evade and predictable: His spawn Range should be increased by 10 to 20% and reduce his Frames while switching positions reduced.
He still is good but the spawn is the only thing that deals alot of damage without ult and it's stationary so it doesn't move only shoots when someone is near unlike other mages that have other skills to deal high damage zhask is to reliant to his spawn.
Zhask should has can summon multiple spawns and make his skill 1 cd lower like 5-3 sec 😂 In his story he destroyed so many planets with his army of spawns.
A think a important point everyone forgets about zhask is his 3rd skill's dmg, alot of people only do the basic atk and sometimes the 2nd skill for stun, but the dmg from his 3rd skill is really strong in ultimate form, so before you've got your items you should do a combination of 2nd skill to stun the enemy then 3rd skill, this will almost certainly bring them to half hp and in late game the dmg can almost one shot squishies and send tanks runnin, the best part is that it hits quite a lot of times so genius wand will reduce alot of def.
getting the 3rd skills full damage is rare to the point its not worth risking wasting seconds casting 3rd skill hoping it would do damage then being sure of relying to basic attacks to still deal massive damage, using it is just when the perfect opportunity kicks in
@@yuridc1780 that's why I said combine it with 2nd skill, the optimal combo is to use enhanced 1st to teleport to enemy, stun them with 2nd, then use 3rd while their stunned, it will almost always get the full dmg off when on the face of the enemy
Everyone knows that zhask ultimate has a very limited range when you change it at place so enemies will wait after ultimate is finish and he's like a free lunch for them..
I have 1100+ games in zhask with 69 percent winrate. I will tell you why he is still unpopular. First is the nerf in Zhask's main item which is the Feather of Heaven. The damage is Mediocre now. Also, many zhask users like me still preferred the OLD zhask wherein when you relocate the ULT, it will reset to full HP. Also there is this nerf wherein when you relocate the spawn too far from your original location, it will not relocate, unlike before, as long as you still have the timer active to relocate it, even if you walked too far from original position before relocating, the ULT SPAWN would still be conjured. The lifesteal they added to the ULTI form in the recent buff is not sufficient enough to compensate to the previous nerfs that zhask received.
I think it's because a lot of Heroes have blink/dash abilities in the Meta right now. So when you ult everybody just runs and that's that 😭 Edit: Also Retribution absolutely DEMOLISHES Zhask Ult
they should buff anti dashers honestly... Like make phoveus not have shield but spell vamp so esme doesnt counter him, or fix the minsi ult bug where passive dashes are not included in the anti dash mechanic, all those stuff can indirectly buff zhask. They nerfed zhask's biggest highlights on his changes in adv server too much honestly too.
My Natalia and Karina wrekt Zhask because his spawn deals basic attack but Natalia and Karina has basic attack immunity so that was an obvious result. Zhask would also easily get demolished by stronger basic attack heroes like Aulus, Zilong, and Argus in a 1 v 1 situation.
In my opinion I think zhask needs a lower ultimate cooldown or change his 2nd or 3 rd skill into a dash skill or something so he can survive while his ultimate is in cooldown, zhask is too depend on his ultimate, I think changing his ultimate cooldown from 45 second to 35 second will make him more usable especially in high rank lobby
The lifesteal of the nightmaric spawn ultimate was good when it was first introduced as a buff because he is pretty squishy and dps heroes can easily micro his ultimate, but when they removed it, it just came back like the old zhask just a brand new passive with a little bit of damage.
one thing that i hate about zhask is the long cd at first skill. If the enemies kill the spawn and the cd is still not finish yet...you pretty much a free food
His summons can't even last in a team fight, the summon dies like instantly. And considering Yve, Lylia, Cecilion and, Pharsa are currently meta mages, he just gets sniped
I don't think I've ever used zhask in either classic or rank even once but I believe it's his mana problem that makes him kinda popular. Also tanks can easily take the damage since his ult is single target and not multi.... I think the developers should make his ult like the inferno tower of COC....What do u think?
2:35 as a zhask main, Id like to offer my opinion on how to properly use his ult which 90% of the people don't. 90% of the time when going into a fight your going to wanna S1-Ult-ult to exit- and then use S1 again when enemies run out of the spawns range. You almost never want to the S1 while in ult form, as you can reposition it alot better if you exit the ult form, run closer to the target and then reposition your spawn. Only exception to this is when you are low HP and use the ult as a defensive ability, then you wanna stay inside the ult rather than exit
One thing, he is the king of swarms that can only spawn a single spawn. Also the spawn should Not give HP through lifesteal Not be affected by anything jungle related Spawn when entities die (Strength of the spawn scales with the kind of entity) Not disappear when Zhask is too far. Be spawned more than once instead of repositioned. However, his ult will only affect one.

Since the moment they nerfed his ultimate spawn, where they stopped it from being summoned again with full HP during the duration of it while having Zhask outside of it; that’s where Zhask became a weak hero. (He is still the hero I got more matches with, but I haven’t played him since then. Sad.
That 'egg-ish' skill from Normal skill to Ult Enhanced skill needs to be revamped or change. It makes less damage compared to his spawned minions. Even when you plant them on open ground or the bush. It still doesn't make any sense since it only cause less damage and slowing effects.
I love using him, he's one of my main and sometimes mage build is weak because even if he deals damage his ult form can easily be burst down. FULL TANK BUILD REALLY WORKS ON HIM, so his ult form will be stronger and it kinda is like a tower. Even if he's not dealing a lot of damage, still he can deal enough damage to scare the enemy. When you build him with full tank items, you can be able to survive because it's difficult to kill his ult form. You also have time to wait for your team to backup, Zhask's skill sets are essential to him and his 3rd skill is for checking the bush or setting it as a trap. He's also capable of pushing towers. He should be tank/mage because of his skill sets, even if he only deals damage to one enemy around his attack range he could be versatile to be tank or mage even hybrid build, it could really work on him.
What also made him unpopular is this: Before, when you get out of your ultimate and changed the ultimate's position, it returns to full HP. Nowadays, it won't
I think because, whenever Zhask ults the enemies would just run away from it. His ult poses no threat to enemies who have dash skills. Yeah Zhask can reposition is ult once, but that's not enough to chase or burst enemies with dash + Flicker.
I used to be zhask main with his high damage burst combo before the nerf even with dashes but now he has no early to late burst damage... u cant kill any one with his ult so he dies after ults finish
He can be easily countered so. And he isnt like other mage. He mostly depens on his nightmaric spawn.If spawn dies in ultimate he cant summon another like old days and his ultimate cd is also long. Maybe he should get more buff like when his spawn dies he gets defense and magic power.
zhask is one of my mains, though i mainly use him situationally, hes good at forcing objectives with ganks with reactability. ive found that using the skill aim assist helps the spawn hit his targets with s2. on most heroes i see it as a detriment because it adds a moment to adjust your aim, but its extremely beneficial for your spawn as it cant adjust
i was zhask main before, but when they nerfed zhask (that your 2nd spawn Ult can't have full health) i stopped using him, you know that zhask really rely on his spawn so that was a big nerf they made, also there's 1 most annoying thing about zhask when you usw ulti, it targets minions first than heroes. I still prefer the old one, he was very popular before but since the nerf, it just went down
I think devs should make his 2nd skill indicator shows both laser from zhask and his spawn so that it easier to stun enemy in normal form because when i thought i aimed them correctly, the spawn's laser always chose the other way and fail the stun.
Zhask is really good for invading/delaying the enemy. If your really sure the enemy jungler will start with blue go to red buff and use first skill spam basic attack (my spell on zhask is inspire it's really good when using ult)use insipire(optional) and thats it.
Zhask needs mana a lot.. Btw he can be countered by a single spell, i.e. Retribution. It reduces its hp to half and make the ult useless.. His damage is quite little after the nerf and he is so vulnerable to assassins due to limited mana, no dashing skills and high cd ult.. He was nerfed even when he was not the meta hero... His passive works when he is dead.. Imagine u played the whole game without dying.. It means u r not using the passive whole match... He's a mage which must die the least in the game not a support and his passive relies on his death.. What a trash mage he become

What is bad for those who want to learn zhask is. His mana at early goes empty really fast, Event if u build him spell vamp most of his skill doesn't give him regen ability Getting lock / CCed before you can managed to press Ult
The reason why he got very unpopular is because of the new changes in Divine Glaive, even if he is still the previous one that whenever he got out of turret after ult and resummon it with Full HP. Without the old Divine Glaive passive, he isn't that scary anymore. A good buff would be to add an attack speed passive or more damage/lifesteal after ult or something.
I'm more reliant on Zhask's spawn so I build dominance, cursed helm, twilight armor, ice wand, enchanted talisman then CD boots, but I still don't play zhask because it's so hard to position him, even more if the enemies are dash heroes
Problem with zhask: most of the mages are reliant on levels and can burst enemies solo from level 4 (even eudora)…while zhask is like a marksman. And his ultimate can be baited out and a real tmfight can happen after that.
Zask has remained unpopular because First of all, it is very easy to run away from his ultimate. Any hero with ezcape can easily leave. Secondly, developers very often nerf Zask's ultimate health, even in the latest update. Zack's ult now can heal itself but this is meaningless beacuse you can easily kill it with instantaneous damage like Gossen's second skill. Thirdly, Zask doesn't have enough damage. His second skill was nerfed, his third skill was nerfed! And recently I had such a situation. I was playing Zaska and couldn't give good damage bu my ult to Alpha! Moreover, I used inspire, and the only protective item of Alpha was boots for magic protection. I was shocked! The ult did almost no damage. Zask should be buffed with everything from survivability to damage.
They should add an Explosion on his first skills, like his previous passive that when his minion die, it will explode, or... They could add an effect where it splashes blood around, then causes either slow, stun or etc...
think one change would fix him is the castable 2nd skill not just from him but also to the spawn, the spawn just randomly blast in any direction which makes hitting both zhask 2nd skill and spawn's to the target are a kinda clunky to do

Because, There's almost more than 10 ways to counter his ult. Radiant armor almost makes his spawn deal no damage, flicker and dash skills makes his spawn also useless. He's just not good in some cases
my main mage is zhask, he is stil very powerful on the right enemies, with his ultimate blinks you could use to be very tricky and have narrow escape, with flicker he can blink 1/3 of the map
To simply put it, zhask is currently bad... no no no, its actually unplayable, like layla tier of unplayability... imo, zhask needs more buffs but not the way moonton buffed him. for example: his summon should only have like 5sec CD after dies, the hero is literally unplayable without his summon, and you cant compare him to popol because kupa regenerate hp when out of combat so you can preserver him that way, and you cant just give hp regen to a stationary summon, so that is why I think less CD would help. his second skill is nearly impossible to hit because people can just walk out of it not even fast enough to require a dash, so I hope that delay gets reduced. third skill is straight up useless they should either remove it or give it area vison at least... the oney thing I would say about the ult, is that they need to allow you to target what it attacks at least when you are still inside it(plus allow u to use spells when u r inside, if they are feeling generous to zhask)

His ultimate is nerfed anyway. Before that if his ultimate nightmaric spawn dies, he can produce a new spawn will full HP. Now is all he has is that only spawn and if that nightmaric spawn dies, he can't produce a new one.
I really liked that he's not popular so I don't have to worry that enemy might steal him. Yes. I got Mythical Glory with only using Zhask. I only need the Epic skin to complete his skins. Haha.
I think the only reason why Zhask didn't become popular is because of the targetting of zhasks ultimate. Lets take a hero and three minions for example. If zhask uses his ultimate near a hero without anyone nearby it will lock onto that hero until it dies or the ultimate duration stops. When trying to use ultimate near minions against the enemy zhask ult might prioritize the minions and lock onto them. You cant pick which enemy you can attack the ult will just keep attacking one enemy till it dies.
the spawn is too easy to kill and they just end up feeding gold to the enemy. his passive still requires him to die and is not much different from before. overall tho he requires good positioning of his ult to actually do anything.. if the team fight moves away from the spawn or kills it, he's pretty much useless.
Its nice for zhask to have a buff but the thing i dint realy like is his spawn range i wish they could make the range wider or be able to spawn 2 spawns at once
Instead of spawning 2 times, how about combining zhask's hp with the spawn. The idea is like this, when attacked the spawn hp will deplete first. After the spawn hp depletes, zhask's hp will take over. Since he's pretty much dead after the spawn is destroyed, why not just buff the spawn with your own hp
Remember thatbyou don't have to have your spawn out for you to successfully ult. I find that many Zhask players forget that their ult essentially is a 2nd lifebar. Whittle down the HP of your opponents and don't be afraid to let your spawn die. Once everybody's low, you can walk up to them and melt everybody down like Carrie during her prom.
for those who want to try using zhask you guys should definitely use golden staff since his spawn can't crit anyway so you might as well use it for that sweet attack speed, the spawn can use golden staff's passive and you can abuse the third basic attack's slow. This has helped me a bunch of times and I hope it'll help you guys too.
Big problem with zhask and most people agree with is that he is way too easy to escape from. A good way to restrict enemies from getting away from the spawn easily is to build Ice Queen Wand, the slow effect of the spawn goes well with this one to slow the enemy by a lot. I also think the hp of the spawn should scale with magic power rather than hp, just to give more sustain.

I think Zhask really need a few more buffs like everytime you build magic damage his nightmaric spawn attack speed increases, and his third skill if the enemy stepped three of the summon nightmaric they will immobilized or the slow effect increases the more the enemy stepped a nightmaric from his third skill so it will give him more cc and also his third skill can now reveal enemies in the bush
I mained Zhask and most people doesn’t use him because no one doesn’t know how to play him properly and secondly the early game for Zhask was damage reduced. However, I think I will keep continuing to use Zhask because I only know how to use him that well
Another problem of zhask is long cooldown, huge amount of mana used in each skill(Found the suggestion in the comments) and a delay on each cast of his skills
Perhaps it's due to his passive requiring death and his reliance upon his Ultimate. Moreover, he is squishy without his Ultimate and is very vurnerable because he has no escape skill.
they nerfed that damn spell vamp from his ult before, I think that's what made people excited for zhask buff, second I don't think they fixed that retri bug for zhask where it one shots the spawn. (you can do that to kupa but popol still works, since kupa can move unlike zhask's pet. Next is that his passive was also nerfed where It's not even that scary anymore, It should have been like everytime zhask spawn got destroyed it explodes like his old passive, that would make sense. Instead of the decaying hp spawn. The new passive was better when they didn't changed it that way.
i kinda understand why people still doesnt wanna spam Zhask. Tho his passive is improved, it still will only activate when he dies. Tho the developers added a new feature where his ult recieves lifesteal, you cant really feel it since his spawns hp is lowered and can get killed immediately.
They also reduce the attack speed of zhask without telling us which basically. Became a huge nerf than a buff because, zhask with speed can do more dmg. Than it's current right now. You can only increase zhask attack speed with inspire but its not effective as its previous.

Zhask spawn and Ult are squishy and they still reduce the hp of his Ult? that's stupid!, hp regen of his ult is nonsense cus only basic attack can trigger the regen, they should also include the skill to trigger hp regen but not.
What killed zhask for me was his 3rd skill nerf, i used to approach easily to melt them, stun followed by 3rd skill on Ult and each clone delt about 300 DMG being about 3 rows with 4 clones in each row. Also the Ults cool down and the "bug" that got fixed.
Zhask skill set is one of the most predictable in mlbb roster of heroes in addition to its long cooldown. It is easy to evade and with his ult being the main damage source, you can just go away and wait for it to end. Movement speed buff while using the skills or extended ult duration should be enough.
Playstyle doesnt really resonate with players tbh, i prefer using cyclops over him.

Zhask just need 3 things to be playable ATM:
1.High mana consumption:
His mana cost it's high without clock of destiny after using 5 to 7 skill you're out of mana.
2.High cooldown: he is really weak after using his ultimate that's the main reason cuz everyone use Fleeting time on him.
3.Spawn while using ultimate is easy to evade and predictable: His spawn Range should be increased by 10 to 20% and reduce his Frames while switching positions reduced.
He still is good but the spawn is the only thing that deals alot of damage without ult and it's stationary so it doesn't move only shoots when someone is near unlike other mages that have other skills to deal high damage zhask is to reliant to his spawn.

A think a important point everyone forgets about zhask is his 3rd skill's dmg, alot of people only do the basic atk and sometimes the 2nd skill for stun, but the dmg from his 3rd skill is really strong in ultimate form, so before you've got your items you should do a combination of 2nd skill to stun the enemy then 3rd skill, this will almost certainly bring them to half hp and in late game the dmg can almost one shot squishies and send tanks runnin, the best part is that it hits quite a lot of times so genius wand will reduce alot of def.
getting the 3rd skills full damage is rare to the point its not worth risking wasting seconds casting 3rd skill hoping it would do damage then being sure of relying to basic attacks to still deal massive damage, using it is just when the perfect opportunity kicks in

Everyone knows that zhask ultimate has a very limited range when you change it at place so enemies will wait after ultimate is finish and he's like a free lunch for them..
I have 1100+ games in zhask with 69 percent winrate. I will tell you why he is still unpopular. First is the nerf in Zhask's main item which is the Feather of Heaven. The damage is Mediocre now. Also, many zhask users like me still preferred the OLD zhask wherein when you relocate the ULT, it will reset to full HP. Also there is this nerf wherein when you relocate the spawn too far from your original location, it will not relocate, unlike before, as long as you still have the timer active to relocate it, even if you walked too far from original position before relocating, the ULT SPAWN would still be conjured. The lifesteal they added to the ULTI form in the recent buff is not sufficient enough to compensate to the previous nerfs that zhask received.

they should buff anti dashers honestly... Like make phoveus not have shield but spell vamp so esme doesnt counter him, or fix the minsi ult bug where passive dashes are not included in the anti dash mechanic, all those stuff can indirectly buff zhask. They nerfed zhask's biggest highlights on his changes in adv server too much honestly too.
My Natalia and Karina wrekt Zhask because his spawn deals basic attack but Natalia and Karina has basic attack immunity so that was an obvious result. Zhask would also easily get demolished by stronger basic attack heroes like Aulus, Zilong, and Argus in a 1 v 1 situation.

In my opinion I think zhask needs a lower ultimate cooldown or change his 2nd or 3 rd skill into a dash skill or something so he can survive while his ultimate is in cooldown, zhask is too depend on his ultimate, I think changing his ultimate cooldown from 45 second to 35 second will make him more usable especially in high rank lobby
The lifesteal of the nightmaric spawn ultimate was good when it was first introduced as a buff because he is pretty squishy and dps heroes can easily micro his ultimate, but when they removed it, it just came back like the old zhask just a brand new passive with a little bit of damage.
one thing that i hate about zhask is the long cd at first skill. If the enemies kill the spawn and the cd is still not finish yet...you pretty much a free food
What I dont like about Zhask is that he often attacks minions instead of enemy heroes in his ultimate form...
His summons can't even last in a team fight, the summon dies like instantly. And considering Yve, Lylia, Cecilion and, Pharsa are currently meta mages, he just gets sniped
I don't think I've ever used zhask in either classic or rank even once but I believe it's his mana problem that makes him kinda popular. Also tanks can easily take the damage since his ult is single target and not multi.... I think the developers should make his ult like the inferno tower of COC....What do u think?

2:35 as a zhask main, Id like to offer my opinion on how to properly use his ult which 90% of the people don't.
90% of the time when going into a fight your going to wanna S1-Ult-ult to exit- and then use S1 again when enemies run out of the spawns range.
You almost never want to the S1 while in ult form, as you can reposition it alot better if you exit the ult form, run closer to the target and then reposition your spawn.
Only exception to this is when you are low HP and use the ult as a defensive ability, then you wanna stay inside the ult rather than exit

Since the moment they nerfed his ultimate spawn, where they stopped it from being summoned again with full HP during the duration of it while having Zhask outside of it; that’s where Zhask became a weak hero. (He is still the hero I got more matches with, but I haven’t played him since then. Sad.
That 'egg-ish' skill from Normal skill to Ult Enhanced skill needs to be revamped or change. It makes less damage compared to his spawned minions. Even when you plant them on open ground or the bush. It still doesn't make any sense since it only cause less damage and slowing effects.
I love using him, he's one of my main and sometimes mage build is weak because even if he deals damage his ult form can easily be burst down. FULL TANK BUILD REALLY WORKS ON HIM, so his ult form will be stronger and it kinda is like a tower. Even if he's not dealing a lot of damage, still he can deal enough damage to scare the enemy. When you build him with full tank items, you can be able to survive because it's difficult to kill his ult form. You also have time to wait for your team to backup, Zhask's skill sets are essential to him and his 3rd skill is for checking the bush or setting it as a trap. He's also capable of pushing towers. He should be tank/mage because of his skill sets, even if he only deals damage to one enemy around his attack range he could be versatile to be tank or mage even hybrid build, it could really work on him.
What also made him unpopular is this:
Before, when you get out of your ultimate and changed the ultimate's position, it returns to full HP. Nowadays, it won't
I think because, whenever Zhask ults the enemies would just run away from it. His ult poses no threat to enemies who have dash skills. Yeah Zhask can reposition is ult once, but that's not enough to chase or burst enemies with dash + Flicker.
I used to be zhask main with his high damage burst combo before the nerf even with dashes but now he has no early to late burst damage... u cant kill any one with his ult so he dies after ults finish

zhask is one of my mains, though i mainly use him situationally, hes good at forcing objectives with ganks with reactability. ive found that using the skill aim assist helps the spawn hit his targets with s2. on most heroes i see it as a detriment because it adds a moment to adjust your aim, but its extremely beneficial for your spawn as it cant adjust
i was zhask main before, but when they nerfed zhask (that your 2nd spawn Ult can't have full health) i stopped using him, you know that zhask really rely on his spawn so that was a big nerf they made, also there's 1 most annoying thing about zhask when you usw ulti, it targets minions first than heroes. I still prefer the old one, he was very popular before but since the nerf, it just went down
I think devs should make his 2nd skill indicator shows both laser from zhask and his spawn so that it easier to stun enemy in normal form because when i thought i aimed them correctly, the spawn's laser always chose the other way and fail the stun.
Zhask is really good for invading/delaying the enemy.
If your really sure the enemy jungler will start with blue go to red buff and use first skill spam basic attack (my spell on zhask is inspire it's really good when using ult)use insipire(optional) and thats it.
Zhask needs mana a lot.. Btw he can be countered by a single spell, i.e. Retribution. It reduces its hp to half and make the ult useless.. His damage is quite little after the nerf and he is so vulnerable to assassins due to limited mana, no dashing skills and high cd ult.. He was nerfed even when he was not the meta hero... His passive works when he is dead.. Imagine u played the whole game without dying.. It means u r not using the passive whole match... He's a mage which must die the least in the game not a support and his passive relies on his death.. What a trash mage he become

The reason why he got very unpopular is because of the new changes in Divine Glaive, even if he is still the previous one that whenever he got out of turret after ult and resummon it with Full HP. Without the old Divine Glaive passive, he isn't that scary anymore. A good buff would be to add an attack speed passive or more damage/lifesteal after ult or something.
One thing i want for Zhask is his Ult to be more tanky, his ult right now is too squishy it can only last 2 seconds after the enemy attack it.

Problem with zhask: most of the mages are reliant on levels and can burst enemies solo from level 4 (even eudora)…while zhask is like a marksman. And his ultimate can be baited out and a real tmfight can happen after that.
Zask has remained unpopular because First of all, it is very easy to run away from his ultimate. Any hero with ezcape can easily leave. Secondly, developers very often nerf Zask's ultimate health, even in the latest update. Zack's ult now can heal itself but this is meaningless beacuse you can easily kill it with instantaneous damage like Gossen's second skill. Thirdly, Zask doesn't have enough damage. His second skill was nerfed, his third skill was nerfed! And recently I had such a situation. I was playing Zaska and couldn't give good damage bu my ult to Alpha! Moreover, I used inspire, and the only protective item of Alpha was boots for magic protection. I was shocked! The ult did almost no damage. Zask should be buffed with everything from survivability to damage.
As Zhask user he's very squishy I think he has the lowest hp at mage group at early game you need him to be tanky to maintain him
They should add an Explosion on his first skills, like his previous passive that when his minion die, it will explode, or...

imo, zhask needs more buffs but not the way moonton buffed him.
for example: his summon should only have like 5sec CD after dies, the hero is literally unplayable without his summon, and you cant compare him to popol because kupa regenerate hp when out of combat so you can preserver him that way, and you cant just give hp regen to a stationary summon, so that is why I think less CD would help.
his second skill is nearly impossible to hit because people can just walk out of it not even fast enough to require a dash, so I hope that delay gets reduced.
third skill is straight up useless they should either remove it or give it area vison at least...
the oney thing I would say about the ult, is that they need to allow you to target what it attacks at least when you are still inside it(plus allow u to use spells when u r inside, if they are feeling generous to zhask)

I think the only reason why Zhask didn't become popular is because of the targetting of zhasks ultimate. Lets take a hero and three minions for example. If zhask uses his ultimate near a hero without anyone nearby it will lock onto that hero until it dies or the ultimate duration stops. When trying to use ultimate near minions against the enemy zhask ult might prioritize the minions and lock onto them. You cant pick which enemy you can attack the ult will just keep attacking one enemy till it dies.
Don't press basic attack during ult form. It will prioritize to the minion
the spawn is too easy to kill and they just end up feeding gold to the enemy. his passive still requires him to die and is not much different from before. overall tho he requires good positioning of his ult to actually do anything.. if the team fight moves away from the spawn or kills it, he's pretty much useless.
Its nice for zhask to have a buff but the thing i dint realy like is his spawn range i wish they could make the range wider or be able to spawn 2 spawns at once
Instead of spawning 2 times, how about combining zhask's hp with the spawn. The idea is like this, when attacked the spawn hp will deplete first. After the spawn hp depletes, zhask's hp will take over.

Remember thatbyou don't have to have your spawn out for you to successfully ult. I find that many Zhask players forget that their ult essentially is a 2nd lifebar.
Whittle down the HP of your opponents and don't be afraid to let your spawn die. Once everybody's low, you can walk up to them and melt everybody down like Carrie during her prom.
for those who want to try using zhask you guys should definitely use golden staff since his spawn can't crit anyway so you might as well use it for that sweet attack speed, the spawn can use golden staff's passive and you can abuse the third basic attack's slow. This has helped me a bunch of times and I hope it'll help you guys too.
Big problem with zhask and most people agree with is that he is way too easy to escape from. A good way to restrict enemies from getting away from the spawn easily is to build Ice Queen Wand, the slow effect of the spawn goes well with this one to slow the enemy by a lot. I also think the hp of the spawn should scale with magic power rather than hp, just to give more sustain.
Zhask has a lot of disadvantages in today's Meta that's why even after the buff he is still not picked that often

I think Zhask really need a few more buffs like everytime you build magic damage his nightmaric spawn attack speed increases, and his third skill if the enemy stepped three of the summon nightmaric they will immobilized or the slow effect increases the more the enemy stepped a nightmaric from his third skill so it will give him more cc and also his third skill can now reveal enemies in the bush

Another problem of zhask is long cooldown, huge amount of mana used in each skill(Found the suggestion in the comments) and a delay on each cast of his skills
Perhaps it's due to his passive requiring death and his reliance upon his Ultimate. Moreover, he is squishy without his Ultimate and is very vurnerable because he has no escape skill.
I think zhask is still good to me, my main is zhask by the way and I have a 15game win streak with him.

they nerfed that damn spell vamp from his ult before, I think that's what made people excited for zhask buff, second I don't think they fixed that retri bug for zhask where it one shots the spawn. (you can do that to kupa but popol still works, since kupa can move unlike zhask's pet. Next is that his passive was also nerfed where It's not even that scary anymore, It should have been like everytime zhask spawn got destroyed it explodes like his old passive, that would make sense. Instead of the decaying hp spawn. The new passive was better when they didn't changed it that way.
