Ooo I think I maybe made a mistake! It might require it for additional features like ears and nose. But other than that without optifine it would look a bit more flat but still cute! So sorry about that! 😁
Optifine is a mod required to use shaders and CIT resource packs but it's going to bring your performance down, so I recommend to replace it with sodium + iris then you can still have shaders and CITs but sodium actually increases performance

If a pack works for bedrock the information would be somewhere on the packs' website usually, you'd have to check each link, but for bedrock you'd have to pay for each pack, for Java it's free. I know Ghoulcraft, Mizuno's16Craft and Hanacraft work for BE and PE for sure.
I think the doggos don't work perfect in their wolf form with Mizuno's16Craft 😆 but once you make them regular dogs or later change their names it's ok! Other than that I didn't notice anything weird!

Shaders on bedrock - you go to the marketplace, select the shaders you like and apply them, very simple. But you do have to pay for them. Java - shaders are free you have to download them (for example from the links in my description) and yt them in the shaders folder. Optifine or Sodium + Iris is required for them to work, so first you'd have to watch a tutorial on how to install them 😀 Hope that helps!

Not all of these packs are available but you usually get them from the marketplace, you'd have to purchase each pack tho, on Java it's all free
