Which machine is this
the way im a barista with an espresso machine & steam wand at home and yet i just make myself instant every morning. this is true dedication
The reason why I don‘t own an instant.
For one I don‘t like the taste and why own a 1000$ + machine if you are not using it regurarly? But I get the point.
true that, I have 2 espresso machines at home (alex duetto 3 and elektra mcal) but more often than not on weekdays, I reach for chemex or instant lavazza (if I'm in a rush) or nescafe blend43 at the client's office (if I'm really really in a rush or run out of coffee).
Same, I have a SImonelli at home but I'm too fuckin lazy to do that every morning. Especially when I'm about to go open my coffeshop where I'll be doing the same exact thing for the whole day ahaha.

I have a similar sort of set up at my home and if my math is right, it’s basically paid itself off after a couple of years because I don’t order coffee out anymore. And now the only coffee I like is my own haha
For sure. And she is using one of the most expensive home coffee machines. Although similar job could be done with the 1/10 of the money with a machine like Gaggia classic pro or other.

@@MrMiss-cp9bw 4 grand for the machine, 500 for the grinder, 300 for the scales. Not quite 9 grand but still out of reach for most.
Approximately $6.5k. Coincidentally I have exact same setup. Machine is 5.4k, FYI.

Although I found the video absolutely wonderful, as an italian I can tell you that you don't necessarily need to have a "La Marzocco" coffee maschine to be a serious coffee drinker and to appreciate and understand good quality coffee. There are less expensive ways to make and enjoy a good cup of coffee.
I think you did a great work on this vid. Some really solid camera angles. I like how you managed multiple angles on the espresso flow, as well.
the vibes man i love it. i’ve been into iced lattes lately. i use a vietnamese coffee filter to make my espresso it works so good; however you’re making me want to get a whole espresso machine 😭

My friend moved out of her apartment and gave me her espresso machine. It’s not nearly as fancy as this but still makes yummy coffee. Doesn’t have to be an expensive hobby 😅

Definitely a good machine is worth it. We brew for about $0.10/cup and have a cafe grade machine. Drip makers for example waste so much coffee they end up being super expensive in the end.
