    I actually understand her perfectly. And sometimes the best advice is meant to be delivered in poetic, esoteric ways. The way we use language is not as constrained as daily life wants us to believe.

      The amount of limitation in language due to the cognitive bias called "The Law of the Instrument" is quite amusing. The constant assumptions that certain words and phrases can only mean 1 thing is pitiful when one is aware that everyone's version/perception of that 1 thing is different.

    I'm an INFP. Ne is like using every single thing you have learned and throwing random connections together to see the outcome. But the connections are not random. Anything from the past that is remotely associated with the topic is brought up when you reference something. It's like a science experiment mixing different chemicals together to see the outcome. Ne can see all the variables that it has gathered.
    Ne is like chain lightning. Different threads jump around and find similarities between topics. Lots of what if's and why's.

      I don't think I'm ENFP, probably have Si higher up than you guys, but I was totally following what she was saying and I relate to that fear holding back my creativity, that only negative things will come back from what I put out into the world. If only I could push through that fear, as then magic really is created. I relate to starting a creative project and it's the process that creates that magic somewhere along the way. Then you take a step back and are like whoah how did I do that. I often feel like if only I didn't have my fear, I could bloom into who I'm truly supposed to be and it would be beautiful.

Everything she's saying I'm just sitting here going "YES, THAT IS THE MINDSET TO HAVE, SOMEONE GETS IT HOLY CRAP" and looking at these comments everyone seems to think she's way, way out there with her line of thinking. Maybe I have Ne? I feel like I'm always yelling this stuff at anyone who'll listen, like, just throw yourself at the fucking canvas, see what comes out. I mean, with life in a "real-world" sense I tend to be a lot more hesitant and careful, minimizing risk where I can, but she's talking specifically about creative pursuits here and I'm kind of surprised at the confusion about her approach because to me this seems obvious.

    Ne isn’t Willy-Nilly accepting and liking all chaos, they are more like a surfer who first searches for and catches specific waves, rejecting others. The main difference is that they enjoy riding their chosen wave of chaos and see it as an opportunity to explore the world and to find out more about the world. They are choosing which chaos to accept and ride. There is a Decider that makes the selections. It is kind of like testing the limits of the universe, such as a child playing a game with the end result being learning more things.

      it rings a bell somewhere in my head that what you said means that you are just highly analytical. Being ok with what is before you and moving on is a low analytical thinking process.
      I have it the same way, the difference is that i like chaos because it is the core thing i know, my thoughts were a chaos as a default and im trying to understand them my whole life. its easier for me to have all the possible ways to perceive open, so i can figure myself out in every twist. i can just reach a hand in straight line in whichever direction and be able to grab it. Its like every single thing i find in the chaos has a label on it already, so i save time by not going to the label section first. Letting something happen means gathering new observations how something can work which is in fact going deeper. Lack of response is also a feedback.
      I mean, in reality we all actually say the same thing, but from a reflected perspective

Ti also helped, wanting to know the _why_ . This very curiosity led me to realize in my teens that what my parents did to me was abusive my entire life. I found out I have CPTSD on my own. Chaos and control are not really great words to choose for concepts that are supposed to present a more balanced viewpoint. The thing is that control has a relative balanced meaning, where control can either be a good or bad thing. You can either be "in control" of things, but also a "controlfreak". However, chaos basically only has a negative meaning. People do not typically call themselves "chaos lovers". There is no context in which chaos is positive. It is only a negative word. Also, it is only chaos from the viewpoint of a control person. It would be the same (but opposite) idea if it was called "freedom" and "restriction", where freedom even more only sounds like a positive thing and restiction mostly negative.

It'll be this time, on this day, so it's probably going to be busier than hell. TBH, my first pick is probably going to be packed to the walls. So, I could wait it out, maybe I'll get lucky and get in in 10-15, or I could just choose something else. I probably won't want to wait it out, they're already so busy, and there are probably going to be faster or slower-foot-traffic options I could find something to eat from. 1. I have seen some of Russell's clips. But don't follow him so don't know much other than watching some very entertaining clips of him.
      2. I don't know what David lynch's idea of awakening is. As far as I know, it's TM. Which is the branch of meditation where the meditator has to be one with the object of meditation? I don't think there is ever any final awakening. The only thing I can do is keep refining my perceptions and actions in accordance with reality until death. Maybe.
      3. I have practised both object-oriented meditation where meditator has to be one with the object and non-directive meditation where the self drops away from one's experience. These are difficult concepts to describe with language unless the person I am communicating to has similar experiences in their lives.

      @@abuomit Interesting. I understand. I am interested in people and why and how they think and feel. So, when I found personality typing, I needed to understand all aspects of this theory from the science to the Shamanic. Last year, I needed answers after a personal tragedy, simple as that so maybe we have had similar experiences but it is still a difficult concept to express.
      I also grew up in the days of Hippy Dippy astrology and incense and I watched Cowboys and Indians on television and wanted to grow up to be Cochise. I would have settled on being Dale Evans, lol.

    Hello, DaveSuperPowers and Mrs. PrettyDaveSuperPowers who has the best laugh on RUclips.
    The id operates on the pleasure principle
    I get great pleasure from your videos, your contents and you two who are such creative channel content providers.
    Jung writes that if these projections remain hidden, "The projection-making factor (the Shadow archetype) then has a free hand and can realize its object-if it has one-or bring about some other situation characteristic of its power."[6]
    These projections insulate and harm individuals by acting as a constantly thickening veil of illusion between the ego and the real world.the Jungian shadow can include everything outside the light of consciousness and may be positive or negative.
    "Everyone carries a shadow," Jung wrote, "and the less it is embodied in the individual's conscious life, the blacker and denser it is."[2] It may be (in part) one's link to more primitive animal instincts,[3] which are superseded during early childhood by the conscious mind.
    Thanks again. Nice Job SuperPowersPeople.

    You seam to speak about Ne from a demon state. Here's the Ne crack addicted perspective: Ne is not chaos. It's the greatest power there is in life. Why? Because Ne is about discovering options. If you have options, you are in the driver's seat. The choice is yours. If you don't have options, circumstance is in control of you. Trust in your judgement and ability to choose, but most important: your ability to learn from choices that you fuck up. Bad shit will happen anyway. May as well be your fault, cuz if it is, it's also in your hands to get it right. End of savior state speech ;)

    Great clip, but just a suggestion, please don't speed up the vid clips, they are not that long and listening to the way someone speaks, ie: the speed, rhythm, pauses and tone to the voice is an important part of catching cognitive nuances esp for those of us trying to learn. It makes the person seem hyper and hard to understand, I went back to the original vid and she is not that way at all, she's very clear and concise.

      José Henrique Ferreira de Sousa In the Objective Personality model (Dave Super Powers’ model), Masculine Sensory is for noticeably strong memory of the past, especially recall for timeline and dates and details of events (“we saw that movie in June of 2002; we sat in the very back.”). From your description of yourself, you might be Feminine Sensory. Btw, in this model, for Masculine or Feminine Sensory, it doesn’t matter whether it’s Si or Se, or S as Savior or S as Demon- it just refers to whatever S the person has.

    • @TheNightsway
      @TheNightsway 5 лет назад +1

      There's no set translation between OP and other models yet, but this is something I've been considering.
      I'd say if you do want to marry the two, it kind-of jumps, but not really. Same for the second function, really.
      The two saviour functions are just the highest preference. The second function is still the second function, so the PoLR and Critical parent likely jump in terms of severity and comfort in the same way, but they'll still be expressed in the same way. So you'll get the same PoLR reaction from an OeDe or OeDi of the same functions.

    • @heatherbryant4197
      @heatherbryant4197 5 лет назад +2

      That's a question I've wondered myself, but I've never received a straight answer from the OP camp. Perhaps because they don't really seem to discuss shadow functions (or they interpret "demons" as what Jung was talking about in terms of the shadow, which would seemingly imply this model doesn't believe people use all 8 functions).
      Dave typed himself as an INTJ jumper, right? But he doesn't really seem to be Fe PoLR. This could be the result of years of practice, but it could also mean he has a different PoLR function. Eric from TwFP thinks Dave is an ENTJ with Si PoLR. Interpret that information however you will. Just food for thought.
