nah, a lot of survival instincts actually. The little guy is curious but super careful because he's all out in the open = bad for small prey animals. He goes straight for his human friends knowing they will protect him. I also have rats and that's exactly what they do to stay safe

He'd follow me around like a dog outside, free roam indoors, come when I called him and plop down on the middle of a couch cushion to sleep. A rat owning friend kept him for a week while I was on summer holiday, and when I got back Rambo was dead. He had put his cage out in the hot summer sun without access to shade. Thanks X "friend". This is 40 years ago and I still get pissy thinking about it.

I’ve always had a soft spot for rodents, that’s what I grew up with because my family didn’t want the house dirty from cats or dogs and I begged for any animal. They’re some of the softest and sweetest animals out there. The 2 I had died years ago. After watching this if makes me want to get another.

Idk y but I got so emotional after watching this. I’ve always had a soft spot for rodents, that’s what I grew up with because my family didn’t want the house dirty from cats or dogs and I begged for any animal. They’re some of the softest and sweetest animals out there. The 2 I had died years ago. After watching this if makes me want to get another.

You're right. I didn't know much about rodents and I got a little dwarf hamster a year ago, and he is the sweetest little thing and has his own personality. He is shy and never wants to hurt me in any way

@@schwerergustav. from the past, they are legit a synonym to deceases, filthiness and poor life. Like its not that difficult to understand why ppl avoid them and kill them. They carry 1000 deceases, eat and comtaminate the food, come in packs, bite, live in sewers. Idk what u are on about, this isnt twitter
