Now that she’s had a chance to explore, she says she loves it. That’s because she’s sees the people are very warm and friendly and there is so much to do. Plus there are LOTS of free-spirits like she is. She enjoys it now. As for why she was there, the Oscars are the most respected award you can get. It’s nothing like Britain’s Bafta awards which is loud and verging on the edge of absurd. It’s serious award show, and actors from all over the world are there. Aurora was in a Oscar nominated song, so that’s why she was there. When the Oscars come, it’s red carpet day with all the celebrities and more are dressed in couture gowns as the walk through flashing camera lights.It’s exciting to see. But for many people, it’s the only time the really dress up. It’s not an “overdone-manufactured facade”. This is what those people decided to do as a job and the Oscar awards the best. If you lived there, you’d know. If you don’t live there, then you are only repeating what you’ve heard.
