Hello Mr. Freeman, I just wanted to say thank you. The exam is tomorrow and I've been watching the 80 day review from the beginning, participated in your livestreams, and have been following along as best I can. I'm very grateful to you and the effort you take to help us so thanks a whole lot and let's hope we get good scores!

Love this video...but I'm a really slow-paced test-taker so I'd probably have to discard half the tips said here or I'd be completely screwed on timing 😭😭
Hi, really like the videos and content. But how do you write the historical context to fit in your essay for the complexity point? How do you write it?
Never quote! Always describe the document, but the grader already knows the documents. Don’t quote. It won’t give you arguing with evidence point. Describe, argue it, source it, and state why the the purpose or whatever you chose is significant.
Can you write an example dbq or analyze an example dbq and explain how it earns the points? I know you just gave a step by step guide but I'm still slightly confused on how I would go about analysis and proving why the evidence connects to a thesis.
Rookie mistake Mr "Freeman" if I can even refer to you as that. At 18:36 you make a crucial typo in your "helpful" QBQ Video. I am here to learn about DBQ's not QBQ's what you call them. Look back on your mistakes nextime Ben. This is your last warning. Jk :)
Hey yall, I have been using document evidence by the means of quotes from the actual documents & explaining how those support my thesis. And my teacher that was fine to do, but Freeman-pedia said something about not using quotes...? Idk a bit confused and worried....
Will a DBQ ever be a comparison. Such as; CCOT, Cause and Effect. Because if so, shouldn’t you have two thesis? Railroads were caused by this, they had this effect
IF YOU LOOK AT THE RECENT ONES (POST REDESIGN IN 2019). THEY HAVEN’T BEEN COMPARISON OR CCOT. ITS POSSIBLE? BUT YOU ONLY MEED ONE ACCEPTABLE THESIS. NO NEED FOR TWO. FEEL FREE TO ADD AS MANY POINTS OR SENTENCES OR IDEAS INTO YOUR THESIS. IT CAN BE SEVERAL SENTENCES.
I know I'm not FREEMAN, but I was always told to NEVER quote the documents. You always want to restate what it says in your own words rather than quoting
Do you really not get docked points for doing more than required and getting some of the excess wrong? I know other test are strict on that, Im surprised this isnt
NAH. ITS THE ONLY LOCATION RULES ON THE DBQ. IT HAS TO BE AT THE BEGINNING OR END. PUT IT IN THE FIRST PARAGRAPH. ANNNNNND MAKE IT THE FINAL SENTENCE/MIC DROP MOMENT WALKING OUT THE DOOR.
i really wish the exams were online this year. as of now i think i might get a 3 because i’m a slow writer and my hand craps out easily, but if it was online this year, i think i could easily get a 5.
