Great video. Two questions. Can you tell me the rise (i.e., the tallest point from the mounting holes to the top of the top)? I am trying to reduce the overall height of my cart will preserving headrrom. Also, how does the top do in the rain? Thanks
Thanks for watching! It sits about the same height as the roof it replaces as far as entrance clearance. That said, there is a dome of about 2.5-3 inches from frame to peak, depending on how tightly it's woven... which also affects its performance in precipitation. Ours did very well in the rain and still kept passengers dry. Let us know if you have more questions or need help! Support@GolfCartGarage.com or (800) 401-2934
If I was traveling on the interstate with the golf cart loaded on a trailer, would this product be flopping around in the wind??? That is my only worry when deciding on this VS a plastic extended top....
Thanks for watching! Truthfully, the metal frame and canvas do have some shake to them when on a trailer at highway speed. But, our experience is that it holds up well, regardless. Some drivers will also strap the rooftop down to the cart frame or trailer bed for added stability, even with a plastic top. Can't hurt to be sure!
Thanks for watching! You can select your cart model on the Top's page here: www.golfcartgarage.com/84-reddot-topsail-bimini-style-sun-top-for-madjax-gtw-rear-seat-kits/ so that you'll get a mounting kit for your cart. If you need help, just get in touch! Support@GolfCartGarage.com or (800) 401-2934
Thanks for watching, Drew! Yes, it's a new rear strut set to connect to the MadJax rear seat kit. Those struts are part of the top kit. Let us know if you need a hand! Support@GolfCartGarage.com or (800) 401-2934
Thanks for watching, Ray! These brackets line up differently on varying vehicles, but the instructions are here: www.nivelparts.com/cms/files/26-168_26-169_RedDot_Topsail_Instructions_Rev2.pdf On some carts, the permanently affixed brackets go right to the struts, but there are extra brackets for different strut shapes. If you need help with your particular cart, try an appointment with our install / diagnosis team here: www.golfcartgarage.com/gearheads-on-demand/ or get in touch directly at Support@GolfCartGarage.com or (800) 401-2934

Does the topsail come with brackets for the struts? Or do they need to be purchased separately? Great video👍🏼

On that top, it looks like the rear struts are different. Are they included with the top kit?
