🌸Shelby🌸 you and Ken are the American dream🖤 im still pretty young, and although you dont know me i just want you to know that i look up to you, and your way of life. Simple, loving, humble, and giving. God bless you and your family🌸 P.S. i cant wait for your vlogmass😀
Good recipe, BUT, there is NO NEED to get your hands in there; that's the whole idea behind "NO KNEAD". You just mix with a spoon or spatula and that's it! I make these all the time.....no hands in there!!
Oh, my stars I’m so excited! I have always wanted to bake my own bread but never had the time ,now that I’m retired from teaching 36 years I have a great mentor and recipe! Thank you! From Lake Oconee,Buckhead Ga.
I have made a version (tweaked from someone else's recipe) of this for several years. I call it over night bread. I gave my Mom the recipe ( I add a little sugar) and when she saw it took many hours to proof she didn't want to make it. I made her promise me she would try it once. She did, and LOVED it !! She saw the convenience of making it, and how forgiving it is if she didn't get to it first thing in the morning. She made it once or twice a week from then on. tfs 🥰🎃🍃🍂🍁🎃🌞🌛✝️🥰🎃🍃🍂🍁🎃🌞🌛✝️🥰🎃🍃🍂🍁🎃🌞🌛✝️🥰🎃🍃🍂🍁🎃🌞🌛✝️ Did you know you can also bake bread in a slow cooker? It's really good. You made a lovely loaf of bread.
Well I must be the only person that messed it up. I made it again 😂 only correctly just now with the exact ingredients only with cold water and I am leaving it rise overnight. I'll keep my fingers crossed that I don't ruin it again.... Love everything you do! By the way, I am 70 so I'll use age as an excuse!
I have been wanting to make bread for such a long time and finally made some tonight using this incredibly easy recipe. Thank you so much!!! I am so excited!!!❤
This is the exact recipe that I use that I got from Jenny Jones’ channel here on RUclips (ex talk show host/comedian Jenny Jones). Her measurements are slightly different however. I sometimes forget to heat up my dutch oven and then have to take more time up to do that, but the dough is still fine having sat the extra time. Sometimes I’ll do half whole wheat flour and half bread flour instead of entirely all purpose; that’s my husband’s favorite variety of this bread. This recipe is very forgiving and versatile. I’ve done olives, herbs and Parmesan cheese baked in. So yummm!!
Shelby, my husband bakes 2 loaves of this bread religiously every 10 days. It is truly one of the best, easiest, and tastiest breads to make and eat! Mandy from Tucson🌵
Thank you for sharing this recipe. Can not wait to try it. I am new to your channel and have spent many hours watching past offerings. Love when you do episodes about your rental properties and your homestead activities. Can't find where you did final steps on either of the rentals. Please point me in the correct direction or maybe they don't exist??? Can't wait to see how they turned out. Please let me know.
This is very similar to the recipe I use except that after you stir everything you just let it sit for up to 18 hours and when you put it in the dutch oven you don't have to mess with the parchment paper , it goes directly into the pot. Yum!
Such a welcomed and easy recipe. I’ll be trying it once the weather cools down a bit here (LA area) in your own west neck of the wood. Thanks for sharing. Looks delicious!
This is a NO KNEAD RECIPE, then why is your hand in the dough??? Now you have to go wash and clean up your fingers! This step is not necessary; it defeats the whole purpose! You just need to mix the ingredients with a spatula or wooden spoon till all well blended, cover and leave to rise.
I wanna bite!! My mouth is watering at just the thought of that melted butter on the warm bread! I’ve made this type of bread many times & like you, also left it overnight to ferment/rise as well. Delish! I use my plastic scraper to get the bread out of the bowl & onto the parchment, as the dough is so dern sticky at that point. I hate gooey fingers. LOL. Thanks for sharing & for making me hungry. 😋
Hi Shelby woah that bread looks yum.. So going to have to try making it to go with some steaming hot soup.. Nom, Nom, Nom.. Best wishes from Tracey in the UK 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️xxx
I have a girlfriend that does half ww and d white, she adds a touch of dough enhancer. The Dutch oven is key to create that steam condition that gives it the crust
I don't have a Dutch oven so I just bake mine in a deep casserole dish with a lid. But make sure you preheat whatever dish you are using so you can get that nice, crispy crust. It is super yummy!

What size dutch oven is needed?
@@premadimauro2691 I use a size 26 Le Creuset dutch oven which is about 5.5 quarts so I’d say 5-6 qt is fine.

Loves this! I don’t have a Dutch oven tho
I do not have a dutch oven either. I have been looking for one and they are so darn expensive. Does anyone know of an inexpensive dutch oven?

YUMMY i always wanted to make a bread like this. Have you ever watched Artisan bread with Steve.?
No, but I will check him out
Since hopefully no one is sick are you going to do up the holidays this year?
Hi you must of said at the beginning but what flour do u use please
Any thoughts on adding seeds, grains, or herbs/spices? Would it disrupt the process at all
Thank you for sharing and caring and your bread looks delicious 😋
Looks so amazing, easy and yummy 😋
Can you use a smaller dutch oven to make a thicker loaf? Do you need to adjust the baking time?
Such a simple recipe and looks delicious. I love the smell of fresh baked bread. Thanks for sharing! ❤️
Hi I don't have a Dutch oven. What do you suggest I use instead.
Wonder if you can add cinnamon? Or Italian seasoning?
Salivating 💕❤️
delicious
I would like to know if you have tried this recipe with ww flour or white ww flour? Is it possible to bake this without a dutch oven?
I have a girlfriend that does half ww and d white, she adds a touch of dough enhancer. The Dutch oven is key to create that steam condition that gives it the crust
Must you use kosher salt? Sometimes I have a hard time finding it
I have a 5.5 Qt Dutch oven. Do you think that would work for this recipe? Because I would really love to try it!!
Yes it will. I've made bread with similar recipes and it works in that size pot.
Ahh I don't have a dutch oven what can I do is there a way ? Sorry left this out if my comment..
What size Dutch oven do you use?

Could you use regular yeast instead of quick rise? If do, do you need to let it rise longer?
Yes Laura, it may take a bit longer

Can I add a small amount of sugar and how much? Will I ruin it?
