"i have over 4k hours" lmao. murphy's law is alive and well in this game... leading to the wtf?! deaths, losing sweet possible tames to those asshole raptors... the rage is strong.
Excited for this playthrough...Started mine in the same spawn location. Ended up using that crashed ship as my 1st camp, and encountered a lvl 90 alpha rex right away.....was great
When I first played this map I was running around with my friends and in literally 5 minutes I found the Galli shrine. The gallis are way too powerful.

I just found you, and am enjoying watching you run around the top of the island not even, at this point, realizing there is a cave with water and tons more metal right under your feet. I always have my first base on Fjordur on this island.
Finally watching this series now that I've explored Fjordur on my own, didn't expect my Ark Additions mod to work right away so boy was I surprised when an Acro burst out of some bushes. Lmao nearly gave me heart failure

I remember the times when I was just watching Ark gameplays. Getting jealous about other people getting to play it. Now that steam made it free for a limited time I am a very happy boi. Though I am playing on my potato laptop.
This is the first map I've played with my friend where both of us went in blind, been super fun finding and learning things and seeing some of the dinos I haven't because I haven't paid for the DLC. been a real fun time
Just a suggestion. I hope you consider adding the Castles, Keeps, and Forts remastered mod. I think their buildings would suit the aesthetic of this map. I’d love to see what you do with them

I’m so happy about this map. IT HAS ROCK DRAKES!!!! Wildcard really put out all the cards for this one, and it’s worth it. The realms are each amazing, the creatures are great. It even has tropeos as well.

I think the reason y u might like rag so much is the fact of what kind of new stuff and ideas it really realesed great new ideas u don't see in center or island like castles wild crops using shear size to be able to give room for more beauty and cool base ideas it just dropped all these concepts and executed it very well

Oh, the lolz from knowing that there was a super safe way around that mountain to a land bridge to get that first rune. Also, the epic metal rich cave, too.
I still can’t believe how big this map is and how complex, it is ragnarok mixed with the island and I’m way happier that this is the last dlc instead of lost island
to survive in jotenheim I suggest the eco's organic saddles mod because it removes any cold effect while on the arctic saddle. sadly it only comes in 6 different dinos. if you want the list it is baryonyx, rex, equus, raptor, parasaur, and trike
12:17 That kind of reminds me of what I have noticed on my single player Genesis 2 map. Creatures just spawn really bunched up in a few areas when you start the map, and then they just start murdering each other on the spot.
i had NO IDEA you could teleport on that map, it doesn't tell you at all. Man i jsut found a great way to get around the map XD THANKS SYNTAC, also i saw ur gallimimus statue in the founders hall or whatever they call it. They put a dedication spot for people who supported the map.

13:13 the begin of ark is chaos. Was sitting at a fire doing the same thing in my ark game but with a 140 raptor that killed me about 15 times. I’ve tamed it now

I do hope you get your stuff back. maybe grind out some wood and thatch, and make a "board walk" all the way across that cliff, as an access to it? maybe also rain catchers for the mountain top base... but yeah, defo get your stuff, even if it's replacable, it's...a good challenge. "no corpse left behind!!!"

yesterday playing fjordur i tame a 145 moschops with one tintoberry and he was dealing 240 damage and survived a raptors atack, i leveled a lot of levels on damage, now it does 1019 damage and he has kill 2 alpha raptors and 1 alpha carno, he is a beast. my server stats are vanilla on terms of dino stats, so i was very surprised by that.

I spawned in the same place as you and a high level carno is waiting at the ship I will tame an Andrewsarchus and kill it!
