Who else came here after seeing Shogun?
Me! Meeee!!!
Me lol
Me. Lol
Meee
Meeee😅
Pretty cool seeing some of these actors also come out in Shogun.
Yes i notice them, must seen movie
Why didn't they use Japanese battle music? This is European music. Took me out of the mood. Surprised, the movie looks promissing.
Mr Jesus they should add the battle of Sekigahara theme on samurai warriors lol
Yeah. That was disappointing.
Is it The Mass song ?
Everything about this is disappointing, the woman warrior with the hat weapon. Fuck off. And the anime aesthetics. Mr White Hair. I'm surprised no one started flying.
Boom Dos I agree with that, and it's because of that why i hate the movie 300, fuckin over the top piece of shit, disrespectful garbage.
Kuroda Kanbei is now Ishida Mitsunari. Great actor! Can't wait for this! =)
And in 2024, Shima Sakon is now Ishida Mitsunari (or more appropriately Ishido) in Shogun. How befitting for a right hand man to Ishida.😂
Shogun brought me here
We all know Hideaki Kobayakawa would have the most special role here. But what I would love to see is Yoshiro Shimazu's and his "Charge Retreat" technique real badass!
Smooth Criminal why would he betray Mitsunari on the first place I don’t really get it
kazuya mishima Are you referring to Kobayakawa's betrayal? There's article about that. But to give you brief details about, During the Korean campaign which was commanded by Ishida Mitsunari, there are stories that he always picked on Kobayakawa and report his misconducts/incompetence to Hideyoshi, something that Hideyoshi does not condone. After the death of Hideyoshi, Ieyasu, who is known as a good talker, convinced Kobayakawa to join his (eastern alliance) and promised to expand his domain.
Smooth Criminal I see
The Shimazu are known for thier prowess in battle but that was really badass from Yoshihiro
Going to try to address that in…November
I went to the Sekigahara battle site a couple of years ago. IF you've researched the battle it is an awesome experience to visit and there is a new visitors centre built during Covid years. The entire area is very well set up with clear signage and information boards at each significant place in english. I even hiked up to the top of Mt. Matsuo where the Kobayakawa troops waited. I highly recommend hiring an e-Bike at the visitor centre next to the station as it's quite a large area to get around. There are also free, detailed maps specific to the battle sites in english available at the visitors centre. I'm returning again this July '24.
Awesome, how big of a battle field is it truly? I mean it must be something else walking there on the fields where history was written 400 years ago... I'd love to visit some day
@@CM-ls6fh The battlefield is quite expansive - about 1.5km x 1.5km (excluding Mt Matsuo) - although it's a normal, mundane working village it's been well set up to show the various battle encampments and points of interest. Note: It's a bit pointless going there unless you thoroughly study up on the battle. There are Sashimono (battle flags) flying throughout the town and where the various encampments were. Even way up on the top of Mt Matsuo - where Kobayakawa and his 15,000 men were positioned/stalling has Sashimono flying.
a piece of trivia:
The director of this movie, Masto Harada, acted in the Last Samurai, as the antagonist politician Omura.
That is not possible, as Mr. Omura knows.
- Katsumoto
Ishido actor from Shogun is in this movie.
This movie is based on a novel with the same title. It's a very complicated story, simply the complete opposite of the drama Shogun. Of course, this novel and movie are much closer to actual history than Shogun.
Looks pretty good ! I’m gonna watch it .
As a person who played Samurai Warriors 2, I find the colors of the Western and Eastern army confusing.
I agree
We were get used to western's crimson and eastern's blue
I had a book describing sengoku battles as more like carnival due to the color variations worn by combatants
I just watched the movie, I can't tell who's who
Was playing Nioh, then found this. Now I must watch
The Sengoku Jidai, known as the Samurai War, the Great Japanese War, or the 100 Years of Civil War, is the time period of chaos, uprisings, and bloodshed where the battle between rivalry daimyō or warlords took place, each of them has their own thousands of samurai warriors that were contented for supremacy across the country, and for the rights to become Shōgun, the supreme ruler of all Japan. It all starts in 1598 when Toyotomi Hideyoshi died in illness, led to be succeeded by his 5-year-old son, and the twosome daimyō will converge the half of the country in division, occurring to the beginning of the Dark Ages. One is Ishida Mitsunuri, Hideyoshi’s prime minister and the General of the West, and the other is Tokugawa Ieyasu, the most ambitious warlord and the General of the East. For 2 years later, the two men will have their samurai experience in one of the last and most bloodiest battlefield that changes the future of Japan, Sekigahara.
So.....is there a version with English subtitles and where is it watchable?
i simply love it bcoz there are masahiro n kenichi
me gusto bastante la ultima pelea,y verla varias veces para entender su historia, muy buena definitivamente mi favorita
:3
Good movie
Kanbei changes to mitsunari
But ultimately, the Toyotomi themselves took power from the Oda in 1582-84 in similar fashion. Sekigahara was a case of the chickens coming home to roost, in one respect.

Why Doesn't Mitsunari Ishida Fight With A Hand Fan?
its to op
oh yea sekkiigahara movie to night
How the world might have been different if Ieyasu had lost. Interesting think about.
Either Japan had expanded or went straight down the dumps.
3 great rulers dream:
Nobunaga = Modernization
Hideyoshi = Expansion
Tokugawa = Isolation
Could ha e easily done if Mitsunari’s Mori and Shimazu contingents had weighed in, or Kobayakawa Hideaki had joined him or stayed out.
@@chrisanduncensoredjapan6627 unlikely ieyasu’s clan foundation is firm and has loyal core vassals. Whilst mitsunari is widely disliked due to his straightforward personality. It would take years for mitsunari to unit japan. He might not even be able to. Japan might be in the sengoku era for far longer dont you think?
@@sfvistorias6399 Japan was unified years before Sekigahara.
@@fyncheniteO i know it was but after hideyoshi’s death, Some of hideyoshi’s vassal did not side with mitsunari because some of them see mitsunari as an opportunist. Even if he did win, ieyasu has more resources and loyal core vassal. My point is that if mitsunari beat ieyasu at sekigahara. Japan would most likely turn into chaos again similar to when nobunaga died. Also dont forget that hidetada was on his way to help his father. They were setback by the sanada. But that army could beat a battered and divided western army.
Overall I liked it. Coming off of Sanada Maru, which showed the lead-up to this battle in even more detail but omitted the battle itself (cos budget) I wanted to see it. Ishida's portrayal is similar in both.
Also nobody prepared me for how much of a DILF Sakon is. The scars just make him hotter! Can the actor play Nobunaga in something? He has the right kind of badass look.
@JIMMY KET Yeah, I feel like Sanada Maru Ishida is believeable because he has flaws. He's still sympathetic but you see what leads to his downfall.
whaaaaaaaa I want this movie !
Whaaaaa you want this fucking movie
I want watch it .. 😭where I can find with English subtitles
Ummmm... the music is a bit incongruous.
Is the OST by Harumi Fuki available anywhere?
Oh c'mon. Cant i see this with english subs?
The movie is very good, it changes some little particulates, and for following 2,30 hours you need to know well the history, but it's a very giogd film
great, and for the sequel do the boshin war where the loser of sekigahara destroy tokugawa...
Does anybody know where I can watch this in the US?
Most likely torrent.
Whoever picked this music for the trailer needs a good wack on the head. Doesn't fit it at all if you ask me. Seems like a good Sengoku Jidai movie though.
Please , I just saw this movie and it was great , but the trailer ... For the love of god why this music?
Saw this with subtitles in Roppongi. The battlefield itself is better than the film, easily accessible from Nagoya or Kyoto.
Recommend electric bike rental for the terrain - better not in summer
Fucking Awesome!!! I need to see this!!!!!
I destroy the like number 666 but the trailer is so cool :D Need2watch this :D
Like Gettysburg, but 10x more crucial.
Kino movie.
Well, its different from my fantasy, based on Ikemen Sengoku 🤣. it is a good movie btw
0:48 took me by suprise
YARIMAZINGGG
To penetrate the chaos of the Samurai world of political intrigues projected on a movie screen is an ordeal that demands lots of patience and concentration. The amount of names of characters, lords, daimyos, forts and cities is absolutely mind-boggling for a non Japanese spectator. One has to keep on stopping the DVD while scribbling on a notebook to follow the intricate yarn of a convoluted history taken from an already elaborated and obscure 3 volume book. The director got lost in petty details and situations that makes the movie a bore.
Lord hiromatso
any idea how i can watch this? the blu ray is $80
go to yts.am i downloaded sekigahara there then download a subtitle.
🇧🇷❤
OWAH MAN ARE RUNNIN FLOM DAH BETAHFREILD! A SHAMFRUU DISPRAY!
I like watching historical movies but i didn't expect that this movie consist of 95% talking and 5% action. Lmao
what is the background music title?
Carmina Burana by Carl Orf
Darude sandstorm
The trailer looks awesome therefore you expect something incredible, but the movie is just speculation, there's not emotion, they did not make the scenes of killing like we expect to see in a real battle field, very disapointment from my point of view, perhaps with another director and a better interpretation of war, this movie would change. so i'll go to watch the last samurai instead...
Who do I root for me, in this movie???
Will this come to European cinemas? It looks awesome.
what is the title of it>? I need it T_T
@@daryl0322Sekigahara

Leave your like or LEAVE YOUR HEAD!
I'm from Indonesia , but I loved Japanese History ..
Absolute Mad Lad! :/
I love it too. The periodic stuff is really good.
Inferiority Complex disease has surrounded your country
i'm from indonesia, but i love javanese history
I'll be honest here. I only watch this film because the one I really want to see is available only in Japanese and my Japanese, well, is non-existent. I watch it to understand the other older version in which Mifune Toshiro, the great artist and legendary actor plays Sakon. I actually like Go Kato too, who plays Mitsunari in the 1981 Tv film adaptation of Sekigahara. I have seen 3/4 of it by now and I have mixed feelings, I will watch it to the finish and will see what I really think of this modern adaptation. I expect less from modern films than from the old ones, so I am usually less disappointed if they are not very good. But I am curious now, to finish it. It was far too late last night to watch it to the end.
Horrible choice of music for the trailer lmao.
Sad.That they take a historical movie with great potential and turn it into a arcade version in the trailer cut. Its like they are lampooning the serious version they didnt make.
Lars Grimstad Gotta agree, especially with the cast. There was some real talent here but it was wasted on this joke of a film.
FUCK YES!
Osu
La vi y no entendí ni una puta mierda
This trailer music is terrible shame on display
what's with the idiotic 19th century western choral music? for a movie about sekigahara? really, there's no eastern music you could use?
terrible choice for music in this trailer
