You beat me by 2 years, lol. Some new college friends introduced me to Bible of Dreams in 1997. They called it stadium house. In hindsight, I feel like that was a grossly inaccurate label for this music, but it piqued my interest. To this day, Juno Reactor is one of my favorite musicians / groups of all time.

When the original version of this video came out many years ago, I was just stunned. It made me question the very fabric of our society... it simply disassembled every human habit or custom to its basic components. It did it so well that I could clearly see how everyday human behavior might seem extremely strange and unusual to an objective observer. This is a pure artistic masterpiece.

I am from Ukraine, I lived near the border with Russia. For the last 2 years I had cancer and walked on crutches.
A couple of days before the start of the war on February 24, 2022, I watched a film in which God is God performed by Laibach was heard. I liked the song, I found the version from Juno Reactor on RUclips, I liked this version even more, I began to listen to it often. And then the war began and during the rocket attacks I often listened to God is God from Juno Reactor. Despite the fast melody, this music calmed me. I haven't lived in a war zone for a long time, I don't have cancer (I think), although I still walk with a crutch, but this Juno Reactor song takes me back to those events.
By the way, what does the girl sing in Arabic? At the beginning there is a line in Bulgarian, there are words in English, but I can’t make out what the girl is singing, just as I can’t find information on the Internet.

Hi Sergei, I am glad to hear you are clear of cancer, I also pray this war will end soon!
Natasha Atlas sang the main part of the vocal, she popped into the studio with her wheels bag of belongings, looking like Elizabeth Taylor, sang beautifully and I never asked her what were the lyrics.
There was a work mans cafe around the corner from the studio in Shoreditch London, I always ate in, run by these two Egyptians, (great people) and I played it to them once, and they said she was singing about love, romantic, as a lot of Egyptian lyrics tend to be... Maybe I should find out more :)

The Bulgarian part of the lyrics is from a song called Prituri se planinata, sung by Stefka Sabotinova. The song tells a story of two shepherds. The mountain falls on them and the first one starts begging to release him because a love is waiting for him at home. The second begs the mountain to release him because his mother is waiting for him at home. The mountain then speaks and says that love grieves until noon, but a mother grieves until death.

@@JunoReactorOfficial True! Bulgarian folklore songs has some dark stories. There's a song where a woman is chasing a man. It starts innocently where the man says there's a tall forest and she can't come to him. She says she'll turn into a falcon and she'll come to him. He says there's a deep river and she can't come to him. She says she'll turn into a fish and shell come to him. Obviously she's not getting the hint, so the man says he has a beautiful woman at home with two or three kids. The song suddenly takes a dark turn where the woman says she'll turn into the black plague and kill his woman, and then she'll look after his kids, but be eternally his.

Je n'avais jamais vu cette vidéo entière. En France, le clip avait des coupes sur M6. J'aime aussi beaucoup la version de Laibach.
