My teacher in German language taught me this band. Gave me a cd which had this song in. Every night when I went to sleep I put it to play. I’ve listened to a lot of good music and praise myself for having good taste. This song truly is on the top 25 I’ve ever listened to. Plain and simple.
when i saw them live, they opened with this. it was unreal. the build up to part 2 was intense. and once the fast paced part started, all hell broke loose on the stage. everyone started dancing, chanting, and hitting percussions. the crowd also let loose. it's one of my favorite concert moments ever. this was at the El Rey theater in Los Angeles.
@@aaronb7410 I would not place Juno Reactor and Shpongle under the same category. Both bands are quite unique in their ways. Yes, they all do share some world subgenre elements, but both bands have their own style, nothing you can compare to other bands whatsoever.
I guess it is the other way around. When a so skilled artist or band does such an incredible work it is more likely that this artist is evolving the music genre definition and will be followed by others.
I have a little scene from a movie that doesn't exist that plays in my head when I listen to this song. It came very clearly to me when I first listened to it a few times, and I thought I'd share just because. 0:00- Fade in on a background of stars. Many colors play against the void of space. 0:11- The light of a sun peaks from around a planet and reveals it's outline. 0:22- A ship drifts into view, moving toward the planet from deep space. Along it's beaten frame, the word "Airavata" can be seen. 0:45- Inside the ship, lights flicker on one after the other. Machines blip and whir and hum to life. A single green light flashes and an eye opens slowly. Some monitors display bio-info as a hand grasps the side of a cryochamber. 1:28- We look down on the top of the ship, which hangs over the planet. 1:34- A strong, calloused hand leads a brush down fair hair. Fingers tap multiple buttons all along many conduits. A compartment seems to be preparing food and drink. Technical looking full body suits are pulled from a locker. 2:12- One screen blasts an urgent message with disconcerting visualizations. 2:18- Feet clad in that suit march down a hallway. The calloused hands cradle a smaller, frailer body in similar garb. 2:29- Eyes are scanned. A thick door slides away. More buttons are pressed as lights begin to snap on, going out and up, and farther up. 2:50- From the floor of the room, the lights barely illuminate a veritable colossus. This titanic imitation of the human form wrought in steel must stand several stories high. Once upon a time, it was painted in red and gold. Now it is painted in rust and blast marks. It's face is a plate of almost featureless metal, populated by two arrays of lenses, with the ghost of painted eyes around them. It's piston and gadget covered shoulder features the word "Indra." 3:34- Boots ascend steps. Lights blip and computers visibly work at some task or another. Two openings appear on the back of the metal titan. One in between the shoulders and the other in the head. 4:06- A figure steps into the port of the head and enters darkness. 4:13- A light builds from the darkness and encompasses it. Images flash one after the other, like a life seen before death. Over this chaos of being, a pair of eyes remains constant. Then another pair joins. Then four eyes become two. Then two eyes become one. 4:40- One human eye become one emotionless lens. A lens on a face of inarticulate steel. As great rails upend the stiff titan and tip it toward the floor, minds work to flex fingers and a thousand tons of steel and pistons respond instead of flesh. 5:05- The titan now hangs over the floor of it's chamber, which opens slowly to reveal the planet only several thousand feet below. 5:18- Clamps snap open and free their prisoner. A moment of weightless freedom. But a humanoid figure slowly falls free from the gargantuan ship in it's orbit. Body finally free, the limbs adjust to angle the body into a dive. Speed picks up. Friction begins to create a wreathe of flames around the body and from a distance it looks almost like a shooting star. The ground races upward. The emotionless steel plate and it's lenses; even the ghost of the painted eyes, are serene among the fires of it's descent. / Title Card. White text on a black background, and pure silence for a few seconds. Then the sound of a monstrous roar, followed by yet more shrieks and cries of monstrosity. 6:03- The following scene, set to the second part, I leave to your imagination. But damn is it cool in my head.

Juno Reactor is the most influencial band in British Goa Music. They made the best songs in all the Matrix Soundtracks. This one from the Album Labyrinth is one of my favourite of the band. Interestingly Conquistador I & II is the first Track. Which implies a decision to make, which is described later in detail on the rest on the album. If you chose Conquistador II, then you choose the transformation by force (war, hunger, poverty and so on) back into the Stone Age. It's your choice. Good Luck.
