The 90 degree needle nose is great for moving the spring clamps on Duramax fuel filter housings when you repair or replace the priming pump.
Watching these two “Good Ole Boys” from Mississippi reminds of the line from the George Strait song Cold Beer Conversation “Time Well Wasted” ! You could be broke down on the side of the road and these two would pull up to help and before you know it, all three of you would probably be drunk, going fishing and best friends. I like the 12 inch Knipex over the 10. The 10 is just a little small for some things but then again I spend more time under the vehicle than in the engine bay.

I miss Snap on Friday
I now own 2 snap on ratchets. 1 flex head and a standard 3/8 . they were both made back in the 80' s. They still work, but would love to upgrade the guts to a higher tooth count.

My next box will be a toolvault elite 72"combo with 2 side lockers for 7500, that will be a 5 year plan to get that. That will be my goal for my shop box but for now I'm using my masterforce 46×24 with the side cabinet at the company I will be working for on Monday.

the funny thing about those bolt cutting. i was email snapon about the 6-32 cutting on some strips. they told me to get those bolt cutting in the email. for a 6-32 bolt in Stainless steel

hey man, i know you work on paccar engines, just a heads up we have been having issues with the top hat style oil filters on the mx13/mx11 engines where the bypass in the top of the cap breaks off, keep an eye out man
I finally ponied up the knipex bolt cutters omg what a tool I had some chain and fencing to cut broke my cheapo Lowe’s cutters this cuts like butter almost 250$but worth it
Check out extreme tool boxes their professional line is 30 in deep and a nice build quality. I'm not un happy with mine at all. For extra tool storage they are perfect. I actually work out of the the same snappy cart as you.

Clay, question for you. I know you are a huge fan of the Knipex cobra pliers, do you own the comfort grip ones and if so do they add huge bulk to the handles? I am getting the 10 in Cobras but can not decide between the regular ones or the comfort grip ones.
I have the regular ones. I think the thicker handles would be nice but i don’t think they would fit in my pliers rack

I got a Mac and Cornwell truck and used to have a Matco truck with a terrible salesman come to my work but the Snap on guy never comes and I would be throwing money at him. I just see him on the highway on my way home. Well shit, I'm not gonna chase you down.
Ct861 is the polisher tool which doesnt have a rocker
Hamilton is right you can’t have a brushless motor with a rocker switch typically. The way a brushed Motor is on the inside makes it really easy to put a rocker trigger. The reason why you’d use a rocker trigger on a brushed motor is because you can change the direction of electricity to move the motor in one direction or the other, because of the brush’s in the motor. I’m sure they can figure out how to make it work on the brushless like you said clay but sounds like they won’t.

No reason a brushless impact can’t use a rocker trigger. I’m pretty sure the rocker trigger is nothing more than a potentiometer.
