I found this song at a longhorn steakhouse and later at a total wine while looking for Bundaberg soda, this is quite possibly one of the best songs I've ever heard in a long time.
I'd just like to say, that after listening to music for 67 years, I still have no problem finding bomb-proof tunes, being done by proper musicians who possess skills that kills.
This song comes on while we're eating dinner at the airport bar so we get up and dance with our drinks in hand smiling at each other and kissing through the chorus xx
Lyrics soak deep into my soul and connect to so many past relationships. So happy to find as an older gent a new band and song that makes me sing out loud and still smile after the last chord. Grateful for the Heavy Heavy!!!
This song is so perfect for this summer. Great song Heavy’s. I absolutely love it. Made me tear up a bit thinking of life recently as well as my relationship with my girlfriend. Just a wonderful song.
Heard this song today on the German independent radio show called "Zündfunk" and the presenter announced "The feelgood song for this year 2023. This is really the case. Wonderful song with feelgood chords. My personal best new musical discovery. Love your music, so please keep goinig on playing such great tunes !
WSGE, North Carolina for me. First time I heard it, I had a genuinely hard time telling if it was a new song or a forgotten hit from the late 60s. The sound is so unbelievably authentic!
@@elysehfm8797 Thanks for the recommendations! Just listened to "Running Away" and currently listening to "Vitamin C." Both really good songs! I recommend you check out Stephen Sanchez's "Angel Face," just came out this year and yet the music sounds so authentically late 50s!
Alright Heavy Heavy, I hear that Stax Steve Cropper influence, too. Have a great tour and I hope you build a huge fan base, you deserve it for the quality of what you've created.
CBC Radio 2 played this yesterday on my way home, never heard it before. Very late 60s early 70s hippie vibe, modern sound like Edward Sharpe. This song came out in 2008 and it is absolutely perfect. That was around the time I was discovering myself, and this song fills me with memories though I never heard it then.
Go down river Won't you go down river with me Walk into heaven Don't look back Lie in the sunset Won't you lie in the sunset babe Fly into heaven Don't look back 'Cause I'm no fool babe I'm your man I'm no fool babe I'm your man Time flies babe I'm still your man Feel my heart beat Under my feet See your reflection You see your reflection in me Wading in the water I got your back Try to shake the mountain Won't you try to shake the mountain babe Better together I got your back 'Cause I'm no fool babe I'm your man Not somebody else I'm your man Time flies babe I'm still your man Silver nor thunder babe In my veins Shine on my friend Until the end Golden dreams babe Until the end Time flies babe I'm still your man Water come crushing down Upon my soul Angel cry Cry out loud
Thank You Heavy Heavy ! I just heard this song today while driving. This song is amazing. It is about the substance of sharing life with someone else and the cherishment and sacred elements of all of that... Brilliant. Are the early 2020s the new early 1970s? This is great stuff...
Absolutely going to be my summer jam this year. This song feels so nostalgic and new at the same time, with such beautiful harmonies in both vocals and guitar that evoke a true feeling of riding into the sunset, top down, music blaring, with the one you love next to you. Amazing!
You took the thoughts right outta my 🧠!!! 😊 Great summer toon. I shared this song just now with my GF and told her to imagine us sitting outback at the cottage overlooking the lake during sunset and me singing this to her. ❤
Seems some people are listing the radio stations they listen to as being the reason they heard this excellent song, so here goes - 105.5 Triple M in Mad City! When are you guys coming The Heavy Heavy??
This is exactly what we need for another cultural revolution. Anyone wanna start to just migrate to San Francisco again even tho it’s waaaay different?
If you find this track your music taste is elite ❤
You might like a band called The Doublejumps if you like this
here's a double vocal track that sounds 60's wash if you dig that ruclips.net/video/fmsm2IYOsyw/видео.html
@@andrewpawlak5117 Amazing! Song ❤️

The world needs this music.

What a killer track!
Ear worm!! Can't stop playing and watching this on repeat. Total retro vibe and layered with groove and spirituality. Angel cry, cry out loud!
My local alt radio station plays the hell out of this song, can’t believe it only has 12k views! I love it!! Thought it might’ve been the growlers
Thanks!
This song is so perfect for this summer. Great song Heavy’s. I absolutely love it. Made me tear up a bit thinking of life recently as well as my relationship with my girlfriend.
Just a wonderful song.
105.5 Triple M in Madison WI is where I heard it ❤️
Literally just heard this on the radio and swore it was a late 60's jam. Wonderfully recorded and produced
It has that touch doesn’t it, I like it!🤙🏼
Same here! They nailed the sound so perfectly, you'd think it was recorded on analog tape!
Same 🤙
Same, I thought it was an obscure mid to late 60's early 70's song. I was baffled to see such a great song that was produced like a year ago
Heard this on my way to work this morning & my life is forever changed. Sending love from Denver 💖
This reminds me of the 70s in Guam. Hanging out skateboarding and going to the beach. It's a vibe.
What boat?

WFUV plays this. I love that they post their playlist online.

@@silhouettoofaman2935 I do that too. Recently it's been Thee Sacred Souls' Running Away and Can's Vitamin C. Time is bending.

This production is really great - reminds me of Momma's and Papa's production sound.

Nice song! Greetings from Brasil.
Goosebumps ..
As someone who is 13 who wishes I could grow up in the early 60s ( despite the problems) this song makes feel like I really am in the 60s
Fantastic. . . Thank you friend
Beautiful ❤🌊
Grew up in Downriver Detroit. As much as I would like to think it is about that working class part of Metro Detroit, it isn't. Still a great song.
Just gorgeous!!!!!!!
So grateful for the way music guides me here on my journey
107.1 The Peak brought me here.
SAME!!!
Love it! It can even be a great Carolina shag dance song.
Wow this song should have a lot more views
Heavy man Heavy.
Still a banger 1 year later
90.7 FM WFUV brought me here!

Best best THE BEST!
You guys are my people ❤
I listened to this song at 2:AM in the morning as I laid in bed listening to 107.1 fm in New Yorks backyard and quickly fell in love with this song.
Wow an actual rock and roll band awesome
Has a Radio Head - House of Cards feel to it
Go down river
Won't you go down river with me
Walk into heaven
Don't look back
Lie in the sunset
Won't you lie in the sunset babe
Fly into heaven
Don't look back
'Cause I'm no fool babe
I'm your man
I'm no fool babe
I'm your man
Time flies babe
I'm still your man
Feel my heart beat
Under my feet
See your reflection
You see your reflection in me
Wading in the water
I got your back
Try to shake the mountain
Won't you try to shake the mountain babe
Better together
I got your back
'Cause I'm no fool babe
I'm your man
Not somebody else
I'm your man
Time flies babe
I'm still your man
Silver nor thunder babe
In my veins
Shine on my friend
Until the end
Golden dreams babe
Until the end
Time flies babe
I'm still your man
Water come crushing down
Upon my soul
Angel cry
Cry out loud
Saw them live last night with The Revivalists. Fantastic show
Miles and miles is a great song! If you do more songs with that speed and energy I think you will do great!
Probably, the best I've heard in years. Heavy heavies. Do good. .
Fab song
I love it

Everything is cyclical, something about live long enough and you'll see what's old become new again, or something to that effect😉
Go see these guys
The lyrics touch my soul. ❤🥹😅
Come to minnesota!!! I love you guys so much!!!!!
WTMD Baltimore!! Great energy.
I just heard this song for the first time on my way home yesterday, damm I love it, great song !!!

Just saw this band they were great!
Indie88 bought me here. And then I found out the band is from Brighton, on the beautiful south east England coast…home 😘
I heard this play at a Menards once.

I met my wife when I was 17 years old. And I'm 41. They don't make music like they're used to.
Good song.
So good ❤️🔥
Loving this band we need more music like this.
Thanks to Dylan Leblanc for sharing his thoughts about this band. He is pretty awesome , also.
For some reason, I thought this was at first an old forgotten song from the 70’s. VERY Fleetwood Mac ish.
Is it just me or do the lyrics paint a picture of a long passed father calling for and comforting his daughter before she dies?
Time flies, babe-- I'm still your man 🌹🤍
Seems some people are listing the radio stations they listen to as being the reason they heard this excellent song, so here goes - 105.5 Triple M in Mad City! When are you guys coming The Heavy Heavy??
Still here in 2023
😊😊😊
I was thinking this song was release 60's or something
if anyone knows any of their others songs that sound like this pls tell me them or any songs in general like this❤️🥲
Man I thought this was some band from the 60s that had some tragic early death, thank god
Trying to figure out the scenery; where is this filmed?
Turkey. I recognized the beer.
They remind me of The Mamas and The Papas and a little bit of Abba
Sounds like Lou Reed
