How to set up your Wing Board

We show you how to make your Gunsails HY Wing Board (Hard Board) ready to go on the water.
Begin by removing your board from its protective bag.
Install the vent plug and make sure that it is secure. You don’t want water to get into your board.
Locate your footstrap screws and clamping plates and thread your screws through the clamping
plate before installing them into the footstrap.
Repeat this on the other side of the footstrap and for the other two footstraps.
Select your inserts, slightly bigger than the width of your foot, and install your footstrap into
those inserts using a screwdriver. Being careful to tighten but not over-tighten the screws.
Repeat this for the other two footstraps.
You can adjust the footstraps by opening up the cover and undoing the double velcro. You want
your foot to slide in and out easily and even twist a bit to take strain off your knees.
Install your leash cord by pushing a loop through the leash plug and grabbing it on the opposite
side with something sharp. Thread one end of the loop through the other and pull tight. Thread
your leash through the loop you just made, and re-secure the velcro.
Your board is now ready.
