I like SID tunes even if I they are a bit monotonous mainly because the same "instruments" are used again and again. I prefer Pokey's diversity but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy this Cracktros.

I guess you could do it with only 1 drive, but we were kids and didn't know all the details, it was easier to go to the monthly computer meet (aka pirate nest) and get it there.
Although I was born later than this era, I still find the music in here to somehow be strangely nostalgic. It reminds me of when I was young, and completely mesmerizes by the window media player on the IBM.
I moved on to Amiga around 1988 so there are a lot of these from after those years. Still have original 64 & 1541. So much new stuff still being made for the best 8-bit machine ever!

Why is this kind of music better than professional music? I've never really understood - you have professionals pumping out pretty lame electronic music of all sorts, and then you have crack/keygen music just outclassing them all. Makes no sense.

@@Blackadder75 For copying discs you only needed a copy program :-) Put source into it, read, put target into it, write (about 4times).
