Masato 'Silver Wolf' got everything going for him, he can punch, he can kick, he got the heart and he got the looks.. This guy is a complete savage in the ring, I miss him fighting Most Japanese fighters these days are a bunch of dumb-clumsy asses who don't even know how to throw a proper punch.. They go in the ring and always get out-punched.. Japanese fighters seriously need good boxing coaches

sneckan the most of the asian fighters who i saw in k1 got their ass beaten! but there are exception!! in the last month i saw very good fighters from asia! cung le, manny pacquiao, buakaw, Masato, some of the ufc like yushin okami, the korean Zombie! but there are not good fighters from asia in k1 the most are in mma
Yeah, you're right about that. Not many good ones in K1 and Glory right now. Muaythai fighters from thailand (which I believe are the best fighters in the world standing up) are mostly too light and have a hard time adapting from not using the clinch and elbows. They changed the rules in K1 because buakaw was dominating everybody in the clinch, thai fighters make a LOT of damage there. People don't watch Muay thai so much as UFC, K1, Glory, but they have some absolute beasts. Just wanted to make sure you knew that there are some elite fighters from Thailand, just not so famous outside the country :)

I could never gauge the popularity of Masato and Sakuraba. Was Masato really more popular? It would make sense since K1 was overall bigger than PRIDE. Great to see the Japanese have the star they rightfully deserved. If only for a brief time. Although Takanori Gomi was amazing to watch in PRIDE.
