- this is a step by step tutorial on how to make haitian marinade (epis). this marinade pairs well with any type of meat, whether its chicken, pork, beef, or fish.
Ingredients used:
stalk of Celery
handful of Parsley
handful of Thyme
3 Scotch bonnet (habanero)
5 Garlic cloves
4 - 5 Chicken flavored boullion cubes (or seasoning) *TO TASTE*
1/2 cup sour orange
Have fun making this marinade, of course make it your own. these are not the only things you can add to it. its all about your taste buds! enjoy!!

While a lot of American people think celery goes into epis... it doesn't. what they saw that they thought was celery is likely leeks!

Nope sorry that is definitely celery .0:53 ..leeks are cilnder somewhat and full of sand .
