The reels you mentioned use fer ultralights are called Spinning Reels and the the reels larger than the baitcasters are called Conventional Reels and they're also used fer deep sea fishing/Offshore fishing besides jigging.
It's really hard to beat Shimano reels. I'm a big fan of SHIMANO and PENN reels. Both brands are quality outfits. The only other reels I use are the OKUMA. I will have to check this tackle shop when I come home.
