Thank you, Tami. I hope we can talk more on Saturday. I need to make some more cat videos, although I got a good picture of Max pouting in the donut bed (he is finicky and gets mad at meal times while Willow will eat with gusto).
Sorry for the lengthy delay, but I had had to talk to some people about crochet. I watched a new Flosstuber and reached out. The Crow River Stitcher (@TheCrow RiverStitcher) is a cross stitch newbie, but a crochet expert. She recommended trying Ravelry.com. It is a website for knitting and crochet. She thought that some of my grandma's work was based on star patterns and that it might be a good bet that some of those patterns could be found on Ravelry. You might also try an image search, but I have more mixed bags finding things that way. If your local library has a maker space like my husband's workplace, you might get some librarian help, or at least they might be able to refer you to local fiber arts community members for help. Let me know how it works out. I would love to try my hand at the pansy border, but probably won't have time until retirement, 9.5 years away.
Really interesting video Robin. Stash and wips from the 90’s! I enjoyed seeing all of them. The red poppies with the gray cat are stunning. It is certainly the flower of remembrance. Is the cat at the end named Max? He is a handsome boy. Now, on to your second video.
Trekker since 1966. Books, autographs, collectibles, videos, costuming. Own one Star Trek cross stitch pattern, but I think it is a copyright violation.
Lovely video! I enjoyed seeing all you had to share. I subscribed so I wont miss a future thing. Thank you for sharing. Have a wonderful rest of your day. Felicia 💜
Welcome to the world of Flosstube!!! Great video. Your origin story is very interesting and I loved seeing your kitties!

The crocheted doilies are lovely. I’d like to learn how to make those.
My spouse suggested those as the thumbnail. I have several coworkers that crochet. I'll ask around.

You have to get a free account; I found the pansy doily in two searches. www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/pansy-doily-5911

Max is the 10 Lb tuxedo. Willow is his 7.8 Lb mama.
Loved hearing how you got started stitching! Beautiful stitches!

Thank you. It was pretty exciting to get comments right away from new friends.
