    Again as I've said several times Howard you are the best Teacher out there...what separates you from the rest is the detail you show and your passion for playing and teaching guitar...Thank you ..Great Lesson

    Yes please for the harmony parts. Or even just mention what the intervals are.
    I was a Zep Head before I even learned pentatonic scales, so I never learned all of his solos, even though _Since I've been Loving You_ was the first solo I learned note for note.
    Excellent lesson as always. Thank you, Howard.😊

    I look at a lot of tab videos on u-tube…and there are some very good ones…however your the best DEFINITELY ….your articulate and explain everything in sufficient detail and I’m actually learning the songs …it’s such a thrill ,THE ROVER,BLACK DOG,SLAVE,BITCH and LOVE in VAIN are my favourite lessons…I rotate them and am improving …..I will add the OCEAN next…
    Any chance of you doing sympathy for the devil,, ,the ya yas version?

    Thanks Howard & even though I already know how to play it.. the way you get it across for new players and even different versions like the “Live” versions you go off of are spot on! I also can’t find where you can join the Memberships on here to help support you. Where do you go or click on? I have bought your lessons on Vemo but can’t figure out the membership on here😂..keep rocking🤘🏻🎸🤘🏻

    Led Zeppelin IV is a perfect album, anything from that album is appreciated. I sometimes hit the final E note on the D string second fret. But an E is an E is an E I guess.

    Ha I want to use vibrato on the main riff in both 5 AND 3...but I swear on LZ III I hear JP bending 3-5 ending with vibrato on 3. Either way I love the swamp boogy texture of it all

    What are your amp settings if you don't mind?? Are you using any pedals??

    Hey Howard, great stuff! How are you getting that monster sound from the tele? Wow! 👍

    • @247GuitarwithHowardHart
      @247GuitarwithHowardHart  Год назад +1

      Believe it or not, it's just my Tele into the Rude Mouse pedal, then straight into the Orange RT20 amp... Bridge pickup with everything wide open. Treble off, Bass off and Mids at 12:00 - I just mess about a bit until I find the tone I'm looking for.

      @@247GuitarwithHowardHart Very cool. I never heard of the rude Mouse pedal. Overdrive distortion or what? I’ll have to check it. I’m thinking the treble and bass at zero and mid at 12 that. Must be quite a little mouse:) 👍. Great lesson too. Jimmy is very creative with those double stop 7ths. He never ceases to amaze me. If it weren’t for guys like you I’d never be able to get those crazy “Jimmy chords” figured out! Lol. God bless. Thank you man!👍

      @@247GuitarwithHowardHart : Funny how many of the classic heavy tones on record were small combo amps, like Jimmy's Supro (and I think the occasional Fender combo). I had so many comgos before I got my first half stack, and mostly I wish I still had my first amp; a 15 watt combo that I paid $30 for, can't remember the name of, and never heard of the company then or since. I hated the sound of it back then. I wanted a Marshall stack, but my ears wanted to sound like Brian May. I didn't know he played through Vox combos, and that Page didn't record with Marshalls. 😂

    In the main riff, did Pagey always go to that octave E at the 7th fret. I always played that E on the 4th string 2nd fret. Am I wrong?

      Check out footage from '73 right thru to the Arena performance - He plays it at the 7th fret, A string :-)
