Alwa ys has beautiful visuals, great cinematography, and I love how he always ends the MV/PV even if the song ended long before. Yes, He was got great inspired from Taiji(X-Japan) and he said so. But the word 'taiji' means a infinite circle from old chinese(or korean) philosophy. You can see 'taeguk'(taiji) in Korean national flag.

We asians, dont tend to sound like others, we experiment with our instrumentals more often, we try to invent different styles for our music, we even have our vocals more improvised every year, Well most of asian bands and artist does this kind of drill, but not all I think you know what I mean

@ALANSE7EN seotaiji's lyrics take forever to translate (well not really but it's really hard) b/c his lyrics are like poetry and he uses really complex imagery.... it won't be easy to find accurate translations that actually shows what he's talking about in the song (since you also need to interpret what the lyrics means)

And to a certain degree, I can see the logic behind the claims you make about Taiji. Yes, he did bring about radical changes between genres. In Korea. And you need only look at hide and his music style in order to see similarities.

You really should... like... listen to the rest of his album Atomos. His sound is very unique and experimental, like most K-Rock artists. I really like 'Replica' from that particular album. I think KRock sounds more like European rock (esp. Nell) unlike Jrock which sounds exactly like American rock.
