Suggest you straighten the pot support/burner container outer legs, get a 14G/2mm 310mm long Stainless steel bike spoke, nip off the J bend and threaded end ( or file down smooth, if preferred ). Bend in half V then continue to form a Y with = angles (120°) but with shorter upper branches & longer stem. = a pot stand platform, spanning your bought one legs. It fits all sizes of cups. You can nest your cup inside the bought stand burner holder. Thanks for sharing.
Kelly Kettle do sylicone lip guards and Snow Peak "Hot lips" for safe drinking out of titanium cups but 2"/50mm of sylicone tubing used with care does just as well. Thanks for sharing
So a slight correction, you showed the price of the toaks 550 at £39 but you didn’t actually show the toaks you are reviewing, instead the toaks 550 light. The big reason people buy a toaks over say a lixada is that they have a light range that uses a thinner gauge titanium at 0.3mm over 0.4 and 0.5 of heavier pots like the the lixada. You have a toaks 550 regular (not light) that is heavier at 100+ grams. The light range 550 you showed the price at weighs 72g. In the world of backpacking people spend a lot of money to drop the weight they carry in their pack. Otherwise a great review and very high quality. Thanks
My my, you are absolutely correct. I wasn't aware they did a lightweight version. I looked in my purchase history and it was currently unavailable. I assumed they just added the 'light' on it as it's lighter than other materials. Up to the discretion I go to add an amendment 😮 I really do appreciate you pointing this out!!

That's not a bad idea. I'm only using this as a work option, so I'm not too worried about the footprint of it 👍

Depending on mug, you can use those silicone wrist bands that people use to promote awareness. Or you can just blow on it for a while 😁

Does a gas canister fit in the Lixada pot?
Tell me your outside dimensions and I'll measure.
