The nice things about being a senior citizen are that we still have "vintage" pieces that we wore when they were the newest things. Glad they still fit. And we play dress up whenever we want whether others like what we do or not. I often get compliments from young people. My favorite line is, THRIFTED!
Me too or I buy them. Thrifted. My grand daughters like. My stuff . I'm. Still hip lol.. We rate remember Twiggy??

Moodboards terrific. Lived making them. And as a 70 year old I make it my business to play dress up every day no matter where I may roam...even the backyard!! Excited to switch seasons. Go Beth!

I think I need to get this L'officiel magazine. I love magazines so much and flipping through them. I also might want a pleated gold maxi skirt now based on this woman who was in Madewell dressed to the nines. LOL! The sparking joy trend is my favorite this season. All the colors are meant to make people feel joyful when wearing and we need that more than ever right now.

This makes me feel nostalgic. I used to make mood boards (collages) from magazines in high school in the early 90s.

Our nearest Barnes and Noble closed. sigh! My two favorite things is packing away my off season items into large Rubbermaid type bins and falling in love again because I did not get to wear anything really this past season and then looking at what I have for the current season that I had taken out the the same bin previously and hanging them up in the closet or shelving. The same with my shoes, which I keep in shoe boxes for this exact reason to protect them during storage but I put them in huge box sat on one of those warehouse pallets to store for off season. I really like the idea for the seasonal style inspro boarding, because I see that it easy to have them displayed in view while dressing to keep things fresh. Well that's just what I've been doing all week!!!! I just gave my daughter 3 bags of assorted stuff. I'm that lady your friend described..... my girls love my clothes between his 3 girls and her two there's plenty of fashion spread around. My daughter's wonderful 2n'd marriage graced me.

Fabulous video! Mixed two of my favorites: reorganization und inspiration. I did my spring reorganization last weekend even though it’s pretty chilly here in good old Germany (kept a few warm pieces out). I can’t wait for spring, I’m very into menswear but also pastels...
It's too cold in Monterey area to the seasonal trade off yet. Outside in a shed I have a ton of Spring/Summer clothing just waiting to come inside again. Fall/Winter still hanging at attention in my closets. I love to see my old friends again and switch it out.

Maybe you should go to Palm Springs to get some Spring/Summer items. You seem to get good pieces there... I enjoy watching you. I used to live in SF in my twenties. I am now in UK (60) - but still enjoy fashion. Keep the good work up!

This was a great video, Beth! I have been buying magazines more lately too! I used to buy them at the airport when I was headed for vacation but with that on hold I wanted to bring some of that joy back into my life and treat myself to some fashions mags! May have to make my own mood board too!

Also really love the blue sweater you were wearing at the end of this video. I assume it’s part of your work out gear? Was wondering if at some point you might do a styling video on incorporating work out garments in to outfits? When you pulled out the blue checked skirt to put away in to your winter wardrobe I thought the skirt and jumper combo would be awesome!!!!!

I visited to a warehouse in London Silver Town E-16 called Thrift factory Kilo sale !!
They had a massive selection you could spend a whole day there.
They only allow some people to pick and choose as they are really exporting mostly. but They also do events , thrift factory £10 per kilo
You need a strong back to go through the clothes as mostly in cages and Trollies.
But it was worth it as many where (Brands) New with Tag's are available.....
Remember when fashion magazines were an inch thick? I miss that. Beth jeans in the accessories?
I noticed that they’ve gotten even thinner during the pandemic.
Since I work in magazine publishing I can attest that due to people not buying many mags nowadays and advertising revenues plummeting, we struggle. A lot! 😞

I too have been spring cleaning my closet for the last 3 days.It's amazing how much stuff a girl can accumulate lol! Final tally 11 garbage bags full of stuff going to the local charity shop.
