Imtiaz Ali, Ashutosh Gowariker, Guru Dutt, Shyam Benegal, Satyajit Ray, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Sriram Raghavan, Zoya Akhtar, Vishal Bharadwaj, Vikramaditya Motwane, Anurag Basu, Anurag Kashyap, Rajkumar Hirani and Mahesh Bhatt ( specifically for Arth and Saransh). They made Hollywood like realistic movies in low budget. Also, you have the tendency to compare the best of Hollywood to the worst of Bollywood. There are great, mediocre and pathetic directors in every film industry. It depends on what basis you compare them and whom are you comparing with.
