How Yelena was so happy to know what Nat said about her.
And "You got so much time with her." line.. Come on MCU! COME ON!

You know if they would have told us Natasha had a little sister her death would have been more tragic. Instead it was brushed off as “Clint you have a family, I don’t, so it should be me”. When he did the whistle I lost my shit, I broke down crying, didn’t think I’d get emotional on this show hahaha
Maybe bcuz she reconcile with them already, both sides of her fam.(avengers/her Russian fam.) And she wouldn't be able to live if both of her fam aren't back alive, and she only said that so Clint doesn't feel guilty or something. Or maybe she meant literally a family (with a partner and kids). Or it's the script writers fault not giving her more in depth lol
She had tried to locate Yelena after the Blip. Because she realized she vanished, she felt that she no longer had any family.

it's marvel not being able to plan/think through some things beforehand (or they just didn't care). Scarlett said in one of the interviews their original idea for BW movie was to have Nat and Yelena's relationship to be like in the comics, where they are not a family but enemies/rivals. Pretty sure she wasn't supposed to have a family when they were doing Endgame, but they managed to kinda make it work by making Yelena a victim of the snap. so you can reach a bit and say Nat realized that at this point she didn't have anyone except Avengers

i find clint and natasha's friendship so heartwarming. The fact that clint trusts natasha so much to introduce her to his family, and that nat trusts clint to talk to him about yelena and tell him about their secret whistle.
indeed. Clint knowing as much as he did was what really proved to Yelena that he was someone who Nat trusted, and thus who she could trust too.
From trying to kill each other to grieving Natasha death was exceptional.

bruh i am sorry but you all need to stop making wanda some poor tragic character. Natasha, Nebula, Thor, Tony, Bucky, now Peter, all lost much more than her. Everything she suffered was mostly the consequences of her own actions. She only lost her brother whom she forgot pretty quickly (never even mentioned him until wv), which is their fault cuz they knew what they were doing, and her robot boyfriend who could've died in a better way if she wasn't so indecisive. Nothing about her is heartbreaking except her being a one dimensional character and an epitome of lost opportunities. You see a white woman crying and go "omg she kills and tortures people but she lost so much omg it's hearbraking omg" like come on

This ending. I mean we all knew that Clint was going to eventually talk her down. But even still... this is exactly the payoff I was hoping for after they built this confrontation up. I usually don't cry when watching movies or shows, but this was one of those times.
This was one of the best parts of the best Marvel series of the Disney+ era.

@@Sasa_Petrzalcan much as Florence Pugh is my favourite actress these days and her portrayal of Yelena Belova is one of the absolute highlights of Phase 4 and I'm always hanging out for the next time she steals the show... but best character of all time? At this stage I think that might be a bit of a stretch.
She hasn't had enough screen time yet, people still feel it is too soon to stop mourning Natasha, Iron Man is what got this whole MCU thing started, Captain America was the main character of Winter Soldier, which in my opinion is the best MCU movie (Natasha was in that too).
I'll be waiting until we see more of Yelena... like her own movie or show, or Hawkeye Season 2 or Thunderbolts, or whatever else she can be in before I am comfortable with gauging whether or not Yelena is the best MCU character of all time.

Honestly, Natasha deserved a better send off than what she got in Black Widow. I mean it did have some very solid concepts that had me hyped to see it, but they could have done them better. Yelena pretty much carried that movie too.
As for my favourite character in the MCU... right now it's Doctor Strange. I mean he was literally playing 5D Chess to ensure the final victory against Thanos. So psyched for Multiverse of Madness too.
The little noice she makes at 3:38-3:39 is just so UGH, it hurts my heart 😢

Natasha sacrificed and she did it for herself and for her family and for the world, and everyone cried a tear and she didn't get a funeral as Tony did, but Yelena, her sister, didn't forget her and she looked for her since Endgame without knowing her sister is dead, personally for me, I cried cause I lived with her character since 2009 and now I have to spend more years in my life knowing it's without the character I loved, this is what I call "perfect character development"

The moment Yelena sheds the assassin facade and allows Clint to see her true colors as a lost little girl with no idea how to cope with grief. 😢

Two things are for certain.
1) Sparing Nats life in a Budapest ultimately saved Clint's life.
2) Valentina better fuckin run! Because now Yelena knows the truth about what happened to her sister. I don't think Yelena is going to let that go.

I just binged the whole series. Yelena learning the hard truth behind Nat's death and why it just snaps at Clint's nerves was just rough like high-grit sandpaper in your cheeks
Yelena and Natasha only spent 3-4 years together as sisters, Clint had been Natasha's friend for over a decade. That's so unfair. Natasha should have come back for Yelena, she shouldn't have just assumed that she is Okay😭

@@Melissdan IKR!! Marvel has been adding so many characters recently who are said to have been there all along. Eternals, 10 rings, Yelena, Agatha. So many new characters with weak backstories. Also including so many magical characters without proper logic or rules of magic is so confusing. Like Loki was this powerful all along and we never saw any these powers when Thanos attacked, Dr Strange without Time stone can be overpowered by Spiderman?! Ned summoning characters he doesn't even know by using the ring for first time?!

@@Melissdan Spider-Man was invited to join the X-Men once. They saw him as a mutant. Peter may have gotten his powers from a Radioactive Spider, but it was Peter's X-Gene that made the mutation possible. (Amazing Spider-Man iirc)

It does. My little sister is the person I am closest to in the whole world and I can't even imagine losing her. I wouldn't want to live in a world without her.
As the youngest of 3 sisters, I've been continuously crying over this because I can't stop putting myself in Yelena's shoes. That pain would be unbearable
Not all sibling relationships are created equal.
My mom was close with only one of her three brothers (and he died when she was fifteen). She's still not close to the other two, although they aren't estranged either. They didn't grow up in an abusive family, they just aren't close.
My father is not close with any of his brothers (he has five). They grew up in a highly abusive, very toxic, household. So I understand why the don't really like each other, growing up that way warped what could have been a good bond between them. But they aren't estranged from each other. They still see each other several times a year when they bring their families together - it's just a weird relationship absent of any affection.
I have two sisters, I am not close with either. Probably similar to what my mom has with her two surviving brothers. No hate, we just aren't close. They are closer with each other, but neither are close with me. I don't think any of us care though, it is what it is.
My mom's oldest brother has two kids; they have different moms and are fifteen years apart in age and they are incredibly close. (Like ideal the ideal for sibling relationships)
My mom's other brother has four kids and none of them are super close to each other, although I don't there isn't active dislike.
On my dad's side all of the cousins are pretty close with other cousins/their siblings on average. Some of them seem closer to other cousins than with their own siblings.
Sibling Set 1 - three oldest are estranged from pretty much everyone (although they are very close
with each other), younger three are pretty close.

It's funny the characters she spend years with (The Avengers) didn't even cry about her sacrifice and didn't make her a funeral, but Yelena cried a lot and kept proving that her sister saved the world, and visited her grave, even that Yelena didn't spend a lot of time with her, but she loved her

that scene from hawkeye, really hit. as the younger sister, i couldn’t ever imagine losing what i love most, which is my older sister. i feel terrible for yelena and wish i could give her a hug.
Hawkeye never gets a break from mentoring, it seems. Wanda, Kate and now Yelena maybe. And even Natasha to a certain degree. It would be fitting though. In the comics he always was my second fav Avenger after Hulk (I know I still am 12 at heart), but in the movies he started out lacking. But over time he claimed that second place again, after RDJ's Iron Man (yeah I'm basic).

In endgame her death would of been more tragic if we knew they were going to bring her red room family to life she simply stated that she doesn’t have family but he does I truly believe that yelena and nat would of made the best duo I loved them both when reading the comics but seeing them only get together to take down the red room then for Natasha to die in the end breaks my heart

I think that they should do a scene in like Hawkeye or whatever and have it so yelena fights a battle and comes close to death and like she sees Natasha in the after life and Natasha tells her to fight and wake up almost like that Hayley and hope scene from originals
I think it will be a beautiful way that yelena can find peace in her sisters death and come to term with it. She will then also be able to see her sister one last time and not have the burden that she never got to say goodbye
This could just bring her heart peace and make her happier knowing that her sister loved her more than anything

It’s brilliant writing for Clint to make Yelena stop with the whistle. A whistle that would be bizarre and meaningless to anyone else, yet meant so much to Yelena that it’s the most undeniable proof that this man is someone whom her sister truly trusted and loved if she told him about something as sacred as their whistle and their experience on the plane. It doesn't just tell Yelena that she must not kill him; it SHOWS her. And it means so much to her to meet someone who loved Nat as much as she did that she willingly lets her guard down and allows herself to be vulnerable and emotional in front of him. At heart, she's not a killer at all, but a lost little girl experiencing grief for the first time and not knowing how to handle it.
This broke me, sobbing so much one again. This edit is so amazing

This is my thing the soulstone is a soul for a soul. So when Steve brought the stone back he should of been rewarded a soul right. So I think Natasha is back just hasn't come out of the dark yet, or she is off world with Fury.

They loved each other as sisters
The way that they truly only had those few days together in Black Widow. Yelena blipped so soon after and Nat had to spend five years after losing half her found family and her sister. AND for Yelena to immediately need to find Nat when she came back broke my heart, because they had so little chance to be together.
'You had so much time with her' MY HEART!!! The truth in that actually breaks me. They were so close as sisters despite their limited time. If we had known about Yelena in Endgame, I don't know how people would have reacted. ITS SO SAD

There may be some who think that Natasha sacrificed herself to bring back members of the Avengers and their brothers and sisters in arms, and some may think she did it to bring back Hawkeye's family.
Then there are others whom may think that she did it to bring back 1/2 the world, and/or the galaxy and the universe.....
But I say that all of those reasons are secondary, and just icing on " the cake"....

I think if you watch the films in terms of the internal chronology, with Black Widow between Civil War and Infinity War it works far better.
